ALICANTE
ALICANTE
Students can arrive at Alicante International Airport which
has flights from many important cities in Europe. You can
also fly to Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia and then fly or
take the train to Alicante.
Transfer: If you have requested and booked the transfer
service from Alicante Airport, look for a person with a sign
with Estudio Sampere logo when exiting the terminal. Wait
30 minutes after expected arrival time of the flight. If you
can’t find the person, call us:

Arriving at Alicante Airport
You can reach your accommodation in Alicante:
By bus. It costs 3.85 euros. The bus leaves from the Alicante
Airport every 20 minutes (from 6am to 11pm). The bus stop,
number C6, is located on the 2nd floor. The bus will take
you to the city center and from there you can walk or take a
taxi to your accommodation.
By taxi. Taxis are located just outside the terminal. Under
normal traffic conditions, it should take 20 to 30 minutes.
Taxis work with a meter and it should cost from 25 to 30
euros.
Arriving at Madrid Airport
From Madrid Airport take the metro to Atocha train
station. There are frequent trains, nearly every hour, from
7.45am to 9pm. The train takes less than 3 hours and costs
around 60 euros. More information at: www.renfe.com.
You can buy your train ticket at the Renfe (railway) office at
the International Arrival Terminal at Madrid Airport.
Arriving at Barcelona Airport
From Barcelona Airport take the train to the Barcelona
central station. There are trains every day nearly every
hour, from 7am to 6pm. The train takes about 5 hours and
costs around 60 euros. You can buy your train ticket at the
Renfe station at Barcelona Airport.
Arriving at Valencia Airport
From Valencia airport take the “metro” to Estació del
Nord train station. There are frequent trains. The trip from
Valencia to Alicante by train takes about 2 hours and costs
less than 30 euros.
From Alicante train station, take a taxi
accommodation. It should cost around 6 euros.
