Welcome to Kindergarten at Uplift Summit!
Included in this packet are a few worksheets of
basic skills all incoming kindergarteners should be
familiar with. Please spend some time working
with your child (no more than 1 page per day) to
get familiar with these skills. Feel free to add
more activities to help any skills you see your
child could improve on!
¡Bienvenidos al Kinder en Uplift Summit! Incluido
en este paquete hay paginas sobre habilidades
basicas con las cuales los ninos entrando Kinder
deben estar familiars. Por favor pase un poco de
tiempo trabajando con su hijo (no mas de 1 pagina
al dia) practicando con su hijo. Si ve que hay algo
con que su hijo necesita un poco mas de practica,
puede anadar mas actividades.
There is nothing more beneficial to your child’s
education than reading or being read to on a
regular basis. In Kindergarten, your scholar will
be expected to read each night. During the
summer scholars should read 1 of the following
books and complete a small project over it. The
project is not meant to be a grand and time
consuming project but should show your child’s
understanding of the book. Please remember that
the project should be completed by the scholar.
No hay nada mas beneficial para la educacion de
su hijo que leer. En el Kinder, se espera que todos
los niños lean cada noche. Durante el verano, su
hijo debe leer 1 de los 2 libro debajo y hacer un
proyecto. El proyecto no tiene que ser un gran
proyecto pero algo que ensene lo que haya
entendido su hijo sobre el libro. Recuerdese que
el proyecto debe ser hecho por el niño.
