Galería de los Países de Habla Español Students will be asked to identify some Spanish speaking countries. (Three questions) for each one they get correct, they will receive a bean bag or ball to throw at an arcade game. If they knock down the items, they will receive a treat. After attempting to answer three questions in Spanish, they will receive a stamp in their passport. Objectives: Students will demonstrate knowledge of Spanish speaking countries, their capitals, and nationalities and express it in Spanish 1st year - where the countries are – point to them on a map or tell what part of the country they are in. Sample of question: 1. ¿Dónde está _____________ (Ecuador)? Está en América del Sur. Or they can point to it on a map and say: Está aquí... 2nd year – identify the capitals of countries and where they are on a map or tell what part of the country they are in. Sample of additional question: 2. ¿Cuál es la capital de _______ (Costa Rica)? La capital es San José. 3rd and up - what nationalities are from the Spanish speaking country and the capitals of countries and where they are on a map or tell what part of the country they are in. Sample of additional question: 3. ¿Qué es la nacionalidad de personas de _________(Cuba)? Son Cubanos. First year students will be asked #1. Second year students will be asked #1 and #2.
