September 9, 2016 Morrill Elementary On Friday September 9, 2016 we invited our community families over to celebrate Grandparents Day. Our students are blessed to have such wonderful grandparents who are keen on the success of their grandchildren. They read books together and talked about the stories. By making reading fun and engaging, the student’s reading skills are enhanced and quality family time is also spent, a win-win situation! A BIG thank you to all the Grandparents who took the time out of their busy schedules to visit our campus and read to their grandchildren! El Viernes, 9 de septiembre, 2016 invitamos a las familias de nuestra comunidad para celebrar el Día de los Abuelos. Nuestros estudiantes están bendecidos teniendo abuelos tan lindos que también les importa el éxito de sus nietos. Leyeron libros juntos y hablaron sobre los cuentos. Haciendo la lectura divertida y atractiva, las habilidades de lectura de los estudiantes se mejoran y pasan un tiempo lindo con sus familias, ¡una buena situación! ¡Muchísimas gracias a todos los abuelos que pudieron hacer un poco de tiempo para visitar nuestra escuela y leer a sus nietos!
