He began his career in finance but soon made a career change to photography studying at Blank Paper. He has published several books of photography in Latin America and Spain. In 2010 he moved to New York to study the Master in Documentary Photography at the International Center of Photography. He has worked for CNN and the United Nations and other organizations and publications. His work is represented by REDUX agency and he is freelancing for The Wall Street Journal. In recent years he has been working in NY with filmmaker Topaz Adizes. In 2013 created the production company Mad City Blues. He has directed several short-documentaries such as Chasquis Seed in the Rainforest Water Hills and Chords Never Too Late Other Eyes and Ithaca.
