School News:
Lunch Information: There is a change regarding the lunch application process
on the school website. When the first application is submitted, the Lunch
Application link goes from the "Notification" page and shows up on the "Lunch"
page. If you would like to fill out another application after the first one, please
find the link on the "Lunch" page. Please also use the website to put money in
your child's school lunch account.
Pasta for Pennies Fundraiser (October 3 - 31)
Our school is joining the fight against blood cancers and helping LLS fund
research and care for patients. Please visit our school fundraising page at

Perfect Attendance Celebrations
Every 9 weeks we will announce students who received perfect attendance and
draw a name from each grade and section to attend a party at the end of the
day.
Watch D.O.G.S. coming to the HSI campus
Watch D.O.G.S. is a one-of-a-kind, school-based father involvement program
that works to support education and safety. We will be holding a Pizza Nite on
Wednesday, October 19th from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the cafeteria. Please visit

LOOKING FOR BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS:
Our book fair will be held October 17 - 21 and we need volunteers! If you are
available, please email Ms. Fun with your name, contact info and your
availability. I am looking for people who are available before school, during the
school day, and after school to help out with the Book Fair. I am also looking for
volunteers to help decorate and make posters before the Book Fair. Any help is

TUTORIALS
After School and Saturdays Tutorials are important to student success. Please
speak to your students teacher if they have been assigned Mandatory tutorials.

LOOKING FOR PTO VOLUNTEERS:
The PTO is looking for volunteers to assist with Friday snack sales. We will need
volunteers from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. If you are available during this time, please

Parent Teacher Conferences:
K-2 parents sign up with students’ teacher, and 3-5 parents sign up in the front
office. Conferences are from 1:00pm-5:00pm, students release at 12:30pm.

padre en la escuela que trabaja para apoyar la educación y la seguridad. Vamos a tener
