Fall 2014 - Spring 2015 Steps to Success Guide to Adult Education Programs at Manatee Tech • Adult Basic Education • GED® Classes & Testing • English as a Second Language • Farmworker Career Development Whether your goal is to improve basic skills, learn English or pass the GED® test, Manatee Tech’s Adult Education Programs can meet your needs. Adult Education Center 5505 34th St. W. Bradenton, FL 34210 941.209.6800 • ManateeTech.edu Adult Basic Education (ABE) ABE classes help adults learn or improve basic skills and/or prepare for the GED® test. Classes include reading, writing, math, science, social studies, workplace skills, health, consumer education, family literacy and basic computer skills. Computer assisted instruction is available. Students must be 16 or older and not currently enrolled in high school. Registration is ongoing. Students may start on regular class start dates (see next page). To give adults flexibility to prepare for this high-school equivalency exam, students may choose from two instructional methods: online or classroom. Our counselors will help you decide which option is best for you! Registration is ongoing. Students may start on regular class start dates (see next page).
