bordó aquel vestido blanco
por años, junto a sus sueños,
con ilusión de estrenarlo
y es así que fue sumando
bordado sobre bordado.

mirando por la ventana
sus jazmines y geranios.

looking out to the window
there are jazmines and geraniums
lost in the fantasy
of castels and palaces
Su vida se fue enhebrando
entre duzura y letargo
y el cascabel de su cuerpo,
que sonó de cuando en cuando,
nunca perdió la alegría
de vivir como jugando.
Her life has been thread
between sweetness and lethargy
and the bell within her body,
that has jingled once in a while,
never lost her joy
of living in a playroom
Hoy ya pisa los setenta
sin saber del desengaño
pues nunca ha amado y por tanto
nunca nadie le ha hecho daño.
Como una rosa perenne
ella perfuma sus años.
Today she’s steping her 70’s
without knowing about disillusion
As she never loved and so
no one could ever hurt her
As an everlasting rose
she perfumes her years
Ya no espera a su mansebo
sobra con imaginarlo,
lo mismo que su vestido
que ha dejado de bordarlo.
Su vida ya es solo un sueño
y lo que cuenta es ... soñarlo.
She's no longer watting for her mildman
it's enough with just imagine him,
as much as her dress
wich she quitted embrodering
Life by now it’s only a dream
