El Congreso Internacional de Metalurgia y
Mat eri al es permite dif undir y promover l os
nuevos desarrollos tecnológicos y tendencias de
la investigación en el área de los materiales y la
metalurgia entre el sector industrial, instituciones
de educación superior y de investigación.
BASES
1. Se recibirán trabajos, para su presentación oral o en
carteles, en las siguientes áreas: metalurgia, materiales de
alta tecnología modificación de superficies, recuperación y
medio arnbiente.
2. Los autores deberán remitir a la dirección electrónica
indicada en esta convocatoria los trabajos completos, de
acuerdo con las normas de elaboración de la guía de
autores.
3. Las personas que deseen participar en la sesión de
carteles deberán enviar el resumen de acuerdo al formato
establecido en la guía de autores. (una cuartilla)
4. La fecha limite para la recepción de los artículos en
extenso y de los resúmenes será el 28 de agosto del 2015
5. El comité evaluador seleccionará los trabajos y
resúmenes que podrán presentarse en el evento, los cuales
serán publicados en las memorias del congreso, y
posteriormente con su registro ISSN en forma electrónica
en la página web de la institución (www.its.mx). Dicho comité
notificará el resultado de la evaluación a mas tardar el 18 de
septiembre del 2015
6. En la memoria del congreso sólo se incluirán los
trabajos de autores qua hayan cubierto la cuota de
inscripción y hayan sido presentados en el congreso.





The International Congress of Metallurgy and
M at er i al s is ai m ed at c om m u n i c at i n g an d
promoting new technological developments and
research trends in the fields of materials and
metallurgy among industry, high er ed uc ati on
ins titutions an d r es earc h centers.
RULES
1. The papers, to be presented orally or in poster, will be
received in the areas of metallurgy, high-tech materials,
surface modification, recovery and environment.
2. The authors must send the complete paper according to
the author's guide, to the electronic address indicated in
this call.
3. The authors that wish to participate in the poster section
should send an abstract, according to the guide for authors.

4. The last day to receive the complete paper or abstract
will be August 28 th, 2015.
5. The reviewer committee will select the papers and
abstracts that will be presented in the event, which will be
published in the proceedings of the congress, and later
with the ISSN number on the web page of the Institution
(www.its.mx ).The committee will notify the result of the
evaluation process on September 18th, 2015.
6. The proceedings of the congress will only contain the
papers that covered the registration fee and that were
presented duringthecongress.

ARTÍCULOS
1. El articulo completo deberá tener un máximo de
10 páginas, incluyendo portada, figuras, fotografías y
tablas de buena calidad: en tarnaño carta con
márgenes de 2.5 cm por lado.
2. La portada debe contener el titulo y el resumen
escrito en español e inglés, además del
nombre y puesto del o los autores, la institución a la
que pertenecen, teléfono, correo electrónico y su
dirección completa.
3. Palabras claves: Por efectos de citación y búsqueda,
debe ser incluida una lista de palabras claves al final
del abstract Ejemplo: Palabras claves: Magnesio,
nanocompuestos, cavitación ultrasónica, dispersión.
1. Papers should not exceed 10 pages including
the cover, figures, photographs and tables. The
pages should be letter size, with all the margins of
2.5 cm.
2. The cover should contain the title and abstract
written in English and Spanish. Please indicate the
names of authors, institution, academic status. email,
and full institution address of each one of the authors.
3. Key Words: For purposes of citation and search, a
list of key words should be included at the top of
each paper just last to the abstract.
4. Use Word processor , font Arial 11 pt , 1.5 spacing
between lines, and justifying both left and right
margins.

6. The verdict of the reviewer committee regarding
the acceptance of the paper will be final. If the paper
does not fulfill the requirements established in the
rules and guide for authors, it will not be evaluated.

Los trabajos que no cumplan con las bases y la guía
de autores de esta convocatoria no serán evaluados.
POSTERS
CARTELES
Se dispondrá de un espacio de 120 cm de alto por 80
cm de ancho para cada cartel. El comité organizador
proporcionará los materiales necesarios para el
montaje de los carteles.
La exposición de los carteles será el viernes 13 de
noviembre del 2015, de los cuales serán
reconocidos los tres mejores.
El abstract aparecerá en la memoria con extensión
de una cuartilla.
A space of 120 cm (height) by 80 cm (width),
shall be provided and the organizing
committee will provide the needed materials for the
set up of posters.
The posters presentation will take place on
November 13 th 2015 in the afternoon and the three best
posters will be awarded.
Only the one-page abstract will appear in the
proceedings.
