Resumen
Un Hotel es una estructura que presta servicio y alojamiento a turistas,
centrando sus principales elementos en servir y satisfacer al huésped.
Es por ello que referimos este trabajo al Departamento de Ama de Llaves
en los hoteles cinco estrellas, ya que este presta un servicio fundamental dentro
de los hoteles, convirtiéndose en una base importante para elevar la calidad de
atención al huésped.
Nuestro objetivo principal es desarrollar un prototipo que ayude al Ama de
Llaves a desempeñar su trabajo con mayor rapidez, en un menor tiempo a través
de tecnología Wireless, con manipulación de dispositivos móviles, ofreciendo
eficiencia y control en los status de las habitaciones disponibles para el hotel.
Realizando un análisis de varias metodologías, el resultado para un manejo
más efectivo y apropiado en este prototipo factible fue el método de James Senn,
el cual, es una metodología aplicada cuando se necesita un sistema funcional que
cumpla con todas las expectativas del cliente, desarrollándolo en un corto tiempo y

de una manera eficaz y eficientemente.
La parte final de este prototipo es ofrecer una excelente calidad e imagen
de servicio a los hoteles cinco estrellas que lo implanten, para a su vez, mejorar la
calidad de trabajo de los departamentos involucrados en el mismo.
Es por ello, que tomando en cuenta todos los aspectos más importantes en
la hotelería en Venezuela, podemos decir que, el alojamiento, los servicios y el
negocio como tal van de la mano, ya que sin uno de estos elementos, este
negocio no fuera una gran organización en cualquier parte del mundo.

Summary
A Hotel is a structure that renders service and hosting for tourist people,
centering their main elements on serving and satisfies the guests.
That’s why we refer this work to the Housekeeping Department in five stars
hotels, this one renders a fundamental service within the hotels, indeed, becoming
an important base for raising the guest attention quality.
Our main goal is to develop a prototype which helps the housekeeper to
fulfill its job faster, in a lower time through the wireless technology, handling mobile
devices, offering control and efficiency on the available bedrooms for the hotel.
Carrying out an analysis over some methodologies, it comes that for a more
effective and appropriate handling in this feasible prototype was the James Senn
method, which is, an applied methodology when a functional system is needed that

accomplish all the client expectations, developing it on a short time and within an
effective and efficient manner.
This prototype final part is to offer an excellent quality and image of service
to five stars hotels that implant it, at the same time, for improving the involved
departments working quality.
That’s why, taking into account all the more important aspects in the hotel
business in Venezuela, we could say that, the hosting, the services and the
business as such, go taken by hands, because without one of these elements, this
business wouldn’t be a great organization in any part of the world.
