Unfortunately, Deacon Joaquin, who
many of you know because he was so
friendly, has taken a leave of absence.
We will miss him. Please keep him in
prayer. Deacon Chris and Dawn are on
vacation to the Northeast. He said he is
ready to come back this fall.
The celebration of the Assumption of
the Blessed Virgin Mary was wonderful.
Even though illnesses and other
unexpected events get in our way, the
parish family still finds different ways
to get together to celebrate. I think this
is very important.
When I speak of the importance of
evangelizing, some ask for help in this
regard. We all know that our actions
speak louder than words, but here is a
verbal way to evangelize also. Everso- often
someone is interested, and this
opportunity is your chance if you have
a crisp, short story to tell.
• What was your life like before you
met Jesus?
• How did you encounter Jesus, and
how did it change your life?
This is your story. Prepare it and keep
it handy for an opening when the Holy
Spirit prompts you to tell someone.
Keep it short. Tell them you will pray
for them and refer them to a good
church. It’s just that simple. Be ready
with your story when there is an
opening.
May the good Lord keep you in His
care.

oportunidad si usted tiene una historia
fresca corta de decir.

Jesús?
• ¿Cómo se encuentra con Jesús, y
¿Cómo cambió tu vida?
Esta es su historia. Preparar y téngalo a
mano para una apertura cuando el Espíritu
Santo le pide que le digas a alguien. Que
sea corto. Dígales que usted va a orar por
ellos y enviarlos a una buena iglesia. Es así
de sencillo. Esté preparado con su historia
cuando hay una abertura.
Que el buen Dios te tenga en su cuidado.

A "cenáculo" es un grupo de oración que
reza de la manera Virgen y los Apóstoles
oraron en el Cenáculo, en espera del
Espíritu Santo en Pentecostés. Un Cenáculo
de vida grupal se ha formado en nuestra
parroquia para rezar y ofrecer nuestro
ayuno y que se ponga fin al aborto y la cultura de la muerte. El jueves por la noche en
la Adoración 17:00 horas, dos rosarios se
rezan ante el Santísimo Sacramento. Este
nuevo Cenáculo se une a los creyentes en
los Estados Unidos en un gran movimiento
de oración y unida. Todos son bienvenidos
a unirse a estas oraciones para la vida! Por
favor, venga!
A "cenacle" is a prayer group that prays
the way Blessed Mother and the Apostles
prayed in the Upper Room, awaiting the
Holy Spirit at Pentecost. A Cenacle of Life
Group has been formed in our parish to
pray and offer our fast for an end to abortion and the culture of death. On Thursday evenings at the 5pm Adoration hour,
two rosaries are prayed before the Blessed
Sacrament. This new Cenacle joins believers throughout the United States in a tremendous and united prayer movement.
Everyone is welcome to join in these
prayers for life! Please come!
