REPORTE PARA AMASC - MARZO 2013
Colombia cuenta con 4 Asociaciones regionales: Bogotá, Cali, Manizales y Medellín
donde existen o existieron colegios del Sagrado Corazón Las Asociaciones recogen
anualmente cuotas de sus afiliadas y con ello financian las obras que realizan.
Los programas más relevantes son:
CANAST A DE MATER:
Es un programa de solidaridad con nuestras hermanas. En nombre de nuestra venerada
Mater trabajamos en todas las ciudades para dar respuesta a las necesidades de las ex
alumnas. La ayuda se establece en aportes económicos, mercados, seguros de salud y
becas educativas a quienes así lo requieran. En los últimos años en Bogotá y Manizales
se ha implementado un trabajo denominado “Tomate un cafecito conmigo” donde se
reciben las visitas de aquellas personas que necesiten compañía o consuelo y se da
apoyo terapéutico a quienes lo requieran
OBRAS SOCIALES
Seguimos trabajando con las comunidades más pobres de Colombia a través de
guarderías, nutrición y educación y trabajo comunitario. Las ex alumnas son voluntarias
de dichas instituciones.
COLEGIOS
Las ex alumnas han sido un pilar muy fuerte en los colegios del Sagrado Corazón que
todavía subsisten. Las ex alumnas han continuado con los colegios como directoras de
ellos o en sus Juntas Directivas. En el momento existen dos el de Trinidad del Monte en
Bogotá y el de Cali. En Medellín el colegio fue vendido a los Solistacios desde hace dos
años pero sin embargo las ex alumnas de esa vigilan muy de cerca los valores que allí se
imparten.
RELIGIOSAS
Con las religiosas hemos continuado una relación muy cercana. Ellas nos colaboran en
los Comites de Estudio . Pudimos viajar a Elasc 2012 con Camila Gutierrez quien nos
apoyo en todo momento en el trabajo presentado allí.
La Unasc no ha perdido su entusiasmo y procura responder a todas las directrices
reciibidas de la Amasc. Somos parte de un ejercito que trabaja unido por un mundo
mejor.

Colombia has four alumni regional associations: Bogotá, Cali, Manizales and Medellín
where they are or had been schools of Sacred Heart. Associations collect annually
affiliates fees and thus finance the works they perform.
The most important works they achieve are:
CANASTA DE MATER
It is a program of solidarity with our sisters. On behalf of our venerated Mater in every city
we work to meet the needs of alumni. We help them with economic contributions, food,
health insurance and educational scholarships to those who require it. In recent years in
Bogota and Manizales we have implemented a work called "Take a coffee with me", which
receives visits from those who need companionship or comfort and therapeutic support is
given to those who need it.
SOCIAL SERVICES
We continue to work with the poorest communities of Colombia through childcare, nutrition
and education, and community work. This work is done voluntarily by the alumni
SCHOOLS
The alumni have been a strong pillar in the Sacred Heart schools that still exist. The
former students have continued to accompany those schools as directors or on their
boards of directors. At the moment there still two schools in Colombia: Trinidad of Mount in
Bogota and one in Cali. In Medellin, the school was sold two years ago s but nevertheless
alumnae are closely watching the values that are taught there.
NUNS
We continue to have a close relationship with the nuns. They assist us in study
committees. We were able to travel to Elasc 2012 with Camila Gutierrez RSCJ who
support us at all times in the work presented there.
The Unasc has not lost his enthusiasm and try to answer all the guidance received from
the Amasc. We are part of an army working together for a better world.
