Ruta Extremeña: Sevilla – Madrid (6 días / 5 noches)
PRIMER DÍA, LUNES
▶Sevilla – Zafra
Recepción y acomodo de los viajeros a bordo del tren a las 16:00 horas
en la estación de Santa Justa en Sevilla. Visita de Sevilla, capital de
Andalucía que cuenta con el casco histórico más extenso de España,
salpicado de monumentos tan memorables como la Catedral, la Giralda,
los Alcázares Reales, el Archivo de Indias, etc. Cena a bordo mientras el
tren llega a Zafra. Noche en Zafra.
SEGUNDO DÍA, MARTES
▶Zafra – Mérida
Tras el desayuno, visitaremos Zafra, histórica ciudad industrial y
comercial que conserva importantes monumentos de su rico pasado.
Mientras disfrutamos de la comida a bordo del tren pondremos rumbo a
Mérida, capital de Extremadura y ciudad que cuenta con uno de los
teatros romanos mejor conservados del mundo. Cena y noche en Mérida.
TERCER DÍA, MIÉRCOLES
▶Mérida – Cáceres – Monfragüe
Desayuno extremeño a cargo del afamado Chef Relais & Châteaux Toño
Pérez. Mientras degustamos este desayuno especial, el tren llegará a
Cáceres. Visita de esta ciudad monumental de origen romano cuyo casco
histórico, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, se
conserva prácticamente intacto. Disfrutaremos de la comida en el Atrio
Restaurante Hotel Relais & Châteaux, ubicado en el corazón de la ciudad
amurallada de Cáceres, a cargo del Chef Toño Pérez, quien nos
acompañará en una visita guiada a la bodega. Tras la comida
disfrutaremos de tiempo libre para recorrer la ciudad, pudiendo como
alternativa opcional disfrutar de una visita al Centro de Artes Visuales
Fundación Helga de Alvear. Cena a bordo de camino a Monfragüe. Noche
en Monfragüe.

Extremadura Route: Seville – Madrid (6 days / 5 nights)
FIRST DAY, MONDAY
▶Seville – Zafra
Reception and settling in of passengers on the train at 16:00 at Santa
Justa station in Seville. Visit in Seville, the capital of Andalusia, which has
the largest historic old town in Spain, dotted with monuments as
memorable as the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Reales Alcazares, the
Archivo de Indias, etc. Dinner on board as the train arrives in Zafra.
Night in Zafra.
SECOND DAY, TUESDAY
▶Zafra – Mérida
After breakfast, we visit Zafra, historical, industrial and commercial town
that preserves important monuments of its rich past. While we enjoy the
lunch on the train we head to Mérida, the capital of Extremadura, which
has one of the best preserved Roman theatres in the world. Dinner and
night in Mérida.
THIRD DAY, WEDNESDAY
▶Mérida – Cáceres – Monfragüe
Extremadura breakfast by the renowned Chef Relais & Châteaux Toño
Pérez. While we enjoy this special breakfast, the train will arrive
atCáceres. Visit to this monumental city of Roman origin whose historical
centre, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, remains almost
perfectly intact. We will enjoy lunch at the Atrio Restaurante Hotel Relais
& Châteaux, located in the heart of the walled city of Cáceres, by Chef
Toño Pérez, who will accompany us on a guided visit to the winnery. After
lunch, free time to explore the city or, as an optional alternative, visit the
Center for Visual Arts Helga de Alvear Foundation. Dinner on board on
route to Monfragüe. Night in Monfragüe.
CUARTO DÍA, JUEVES
▶Monfragüe – Toledo
Tras el desayuno disfrutaremos de una mañana en plena naturaleza con
la visita del Parque Natural de Monfragüe. Luego regresaremos al tren
para comer y, posteriormente, viajar a Toledo. Visita a la capital
visigótica, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO,
“Ciudad Imperial” y lugar donde las tres culturas, cristiana, musulmana y
judía, convivieron durante siglos. Tiempo libre y cena.
FOURTH DAY, THURSDAY
▶Monfragüe – Toledo
After breakfast we enjoy the morning in the middle of the nature with the
visit of the Natural Park of Monfragüe. Then we come back to the train to
have lunch. Later we will visit Toledo. City tour in Toledo, the visigothic
capital declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO, "Imperial City"
where the three cultures: Christians, Muslims and Jews lived together for
centuries. Free time and dinner.
QUINTO DÍA, VIERNES
▶Toledo – Aranjuez
Tras el desayuno, disfrutaremos de una Jornada Gastronómica, dedicada
a saborear un producto mundialmente conocido, como es el queso
manchego, y a disfrutar de otros típicos productos de la región como son
el aceite de oliva, el mazapán y los vinos. Comida. Tras el almuerzo
visitaremos la villa de Aranjuez, famosa por su Palacio Real y sus
jardines, uno de los sitios reales de la Corona de España desde el siglo
XVI. Tiempo libre. Cena y noche en Aranjuez.
FIFTH DAY, FRIDAY
▶Toledo – Aranjuez
After breakfast on board, we taste one of the best worldwide known
cheeses: Manchego cheese. We enjoy a gastronomic morning with other
typical local products such as olive oil, wine and marzipan. Lunch. Visit
the town of Aranjuez, popular for its Royal Palace and gardens, one of
the royal places of the Crown of Spain since the sixteenth century. Free
time. Dinner and night in Aranjuez.
SEXTO DÍA, SÁBADO
▶Aranjuez – Madrid
Desayuno especial elaborado por el Chef Ramón Freixa. Durante el
desayuno el tren llegará a Madrid donde visitaremos el Palacio Real,
situado en el hermoso casco antiguo de la capital de España. Comida y
fin de viaje aproximadamente a las 17:00 horas.
SIXTH DAY, SATURDAY
▶Aranjuez – Madrid
Special breakfast by Chef Relais & Châteaux Ramón Freixa. During
breakfast the train arrives in Madrid where we will visit the Royal Palace,
located in the beautiful old capital of Spain. Lunch and end of the trip at
about 17:00 h approximately.
