NOTICE OF DEFECTIVE FPCA
I have received and reviewed your federal postcard application. I have determined that your application is
defective for the following reason(s):

The address to which your ballot is to be sent is not an address:
(a) outside your home Texas county (military) or
(b) outside the United States (non-military U.S. Citizen while voting overseas).
When voting by mail using the FPCA, the address to which your ballot is to be mailed must be
outside the county unless you have indicated the ballot is to be forwarded to an address outside
of the United States. Please note that even if you qualify to request a ballot sent to you by e-mail,
you are still required to give us this mailing address in order to establish your location.

Your application did not indicate the reason you are entitled to vote by FPCA.

For a primary election, you must indicate your party preference. If you do not send us an updated
FPCA, you will qualify for other elections conducted by this office held this calendar year.

Your complete voting residence address or concise description was not provided on your
application.

The residence address on your FPCA is an unknown address for this county.

I am not the early voting clerk to process your requests for ballots; however, based on your
residence address I have forwarded your FPCA to the correct county of residence.

Your FPCA was received after the deadline for receiving an application for a ballot by mail, and
there are not any more elections this calendar year conducted by this office. You will need to file
a new FPCA on or after January 1 next year if you want to apply for next year’s elections.

Your application indicated you were requesting a ballot due to the fact that you are an activated
National Guard member on State Orders. Please be advised that your information will be shared
with the voter registrar for permanent voter registration purposes; however, you are not eligible
to receive a ballot by mail using this form. Once your voter registration has been processed, you
may submit the state application for ballot by mail.

When voting by mail using the FPCA, the address to which your ballot is to be mailed must be
included and listed as outside the county unless you have indicated the ballot is to be forwarded
to an address outside of the United States. Please note that even if you qualify to request a ballot

Your application indicated you were requesting a ballot due to the fact that you are a U.S. Citizen
and have never resided in the United States. Under Texas State law, you are not entitled to
receive a ballot, including a federal ballot, if you have never resided in the United States. Note
that your FPCA will NOT be shared with the voter registrar for permanent voter registration
purposes as you are not entitled to become a registered voter in Texas if you have never resided
in the United States.
You are not entitled to vote by mail until the defect(s) in your application is/are corrected and a valid application
is received.

AVISO DE SOLICITUD DE TARJETA POSTAL FEDERAL DEFECTUOSA
Su solicitud de tarjeta postal federal fue recibida y analizada. Hemos determinado que su solicitud es defectuosa
por las siguientes razones:

La dirección a la que su boleta debe ser enviada no es una dirección:
a) fuera del condado de Texas (militar) o
b) fuera de los Estados Unidos (ciudadano no-militar de EEUU quien vota mientras está en el
extranjero)
Al votar por correo mediante la FPCA (Solicitud de Tarjeta Postal Federal) la dirección a la que se
enviará su boleta debe estar situada fuera del condado, a menos que usted haya indicado en su boleta
que ésta deberá remitirse a una dirección situada fuera de los Estados Unidos. Por favor, tenga en
cuenta que aunque usted califica para solicitar una boleta enviada por correo electrónico, usted
necesita proveer su dirección de correo postal con el fin de poder establecer su ubicación.

La solicitud no expresa la razón por la cual tiene derecho de votar mediante la FPCA.

Para una elección primaria, usted tiene que incluir su preferencia de partido. Si usted no nos envía
una FPCA actualizada, usted de todas formas calificará para otras elecciones llevadas a cabo por esta
oficina y celebradas este año calendario.

Su solicitud no indica la dirección residencial completa de su registro de votante ni una descripción
concisa de la ubicación de su residencia.

La dirección de la residencia en su FPCA es una dirección desconocida para este condado.

No soy el secretario de votación adelantada responsable de tramitar su solicitud de boleta, sin
embargo, en base a su dirección de residencia, he remitido su FPCA al condado residencial que le
corresponde.

Se recibió su solicitud de FPCA después de la fecha tope para recibir solicitudes de boleta enviadas
por correo, y no hay elecciones adicionales para este año calendario que se realizarán por esta
oficina. Usted necesitará presentar una nueva FPCA a partir del 1 de enero del próximo año si usted
desea aplicar para las elecciones del próximo año.

La fecha tope para recibir la solicitud fue el día ________________. Sin embargo, su FPCA será
válida para el resto de las elecciones que se realizarán este año calendario.

usted es un miembro activo de la Guardia Nacional con órdenes estatales. Por favor tenga en cuenta,
que su información será compartida con la oficina de inscripción electoral para propósitos de registro
permanente. Sin embargo, usted no es elegible para recibir una boleta postal utilizando esta forma.
Una vez que su inscripción ha sido procesada, usted podrá enviar su solicitud de boleta postal estatal.

Cuando ejerce su voto por correo utilizando la solicitud FPCA, la dirección a la cual se le enviará su
boleta debe ser incluida, y la misma, debe señalar una dirección fuera del condado a menos que usted
haya indicado que la boleta debe ser enviada a una dirección fuera de los Estados Unidos. Por favor
tenga en cuenta que aunque usted califica para solicitar que se le envíe una boleta por correo
electrónico, usted necesita proveer su dirección de correo con el fin de poder establecer su ubicación.

En su solicitud usted indicó que pedía una boleta debido a que usted es ciudadano de los EE.UU. y
que nunca ha vivido dentro de los Estados Unidos. Bajo la ley Estatal de Texas, usted no tiene
derecho a recibir una boleta, incluyendo una boleta federal, si es que nunca ha vivido dentro los
Estados Unidos. Tenga presente que su FPCA NO se compartirá con el registrador de votantes para
propósitos de inscripción permanente, ya que usted no tiene derecho a ser votante inscrito en Texas si
nunca ha vivido dentro de los Estados Unidos.
No podrá votar por correo hasta que corrija todo defecto/s en su solicitud y esta oficina reciba una solicitud
válida.
