This is a template to help you write about your free time plans for the future. First scan the two vocab slides, then try the activities below.
El fin de semana próximo no tengo planes, pero en dos semanas es mi cumpleaños. El viernes voy a invitar a todos mis amigos a una fiesta. Primero, el
sábado, voy a salir con mis amigos al centro comercial de St Stephen’s. Después voy a ir a la discoteca, donde voy a bailar y cantar a la música alternativa y

Exercise 1: In the above text, circle the future activities (voy a + verb), underline the time expressions and look up the bold words in a dictionary.
Exercise 2: Translate it into English (verbally) then use it as a template to write your own extended paragraph on future free time plans. Add as many
activities as you can, and say when you are going to do them. You could also add connectives, opinions and sequencing words (i.e. first, next, then, finally…)
