Much more than cooking method, barbecuing
is a happening of flavor, joy, and sharing.
There are smiles everywhere and the
hubbub of guests fills the place with
joy. Wherever you look, there are the
dear familiar faces of friends and
relatives. It is Sunday and the fire
is on, the aroma of roasting meat in
the air. And soon, it is time to eat.
Stainless steel does its job and carves
through a smoking rack of ribs. A
precise cut slices a juicy flank steak.
The edge of the knife splits a tender
sirloin steak. Serrated knives never
stop, forks come and go from mouths.
Eventually, the cutlery rests on the
edge of the plates. Everyone is now
clapping. The cook raises his skewers
in the air. There are smiles everywhere
and laughter fills the place with joy.

Mucho más que un plato, el asado es un acontecimiento
de sabor, alegría y confraternización.
