Dear WISD Parents/Guardians and Students,
Below , you w ill find the WISD Student Code of Conduct and Technology Appropriate Use Policy Acknowledgement ( AUP) Form. This form m ust be
signed and dated by both a parent or guardian and student and returned to your WISD cam pus.
In an effort to conserve paper and continue to be more fiscally responsible, the district leadership team has once again deci ded to launch this
year’s Student Code of Conduct on the district w ebsite. This paperless Code is located on the front page of the district w ebs ite at:
http://www.wisd.org. A m aster copy of the Code is located in each cam pus front office, and all parents may pick u p a free, printed copy of the Code
at the WISD Adm inistration Building at 411 North Gibson Street.
Again, Waxahachie ISD takes great pride and responsibility in m aintaining safety and security on all cam puses. It is the dist rict’s goal to w ork
together w ith the com m unity to prom ote a safe and orderly learning environm ent for every student.

My child and I have been offered the option to receive a paper copy or electronically access the 2013-2014 WISD Student Code of Conduct at
http://www.wisd.org.

Accept responsibility for accessing the Student Code of Conduct by visiting the Web address listed above. I understand that t he Code
contains information that m y child and I m ay need during the school year and that all students will be held accountable for their behavior and will
be subject to the disciplinary consequences outlined in the Code. If I have any questions regarding the Code, I should direc t those questions to the
cam pus principal or other appropriate administrator. I have read a copy of the 2013-2014 Waxahachie Independent School District’s Student Code
of Conduct and understand the Class I-V Discipline Offenses listed within it.
Technology Appropriate Use Policy (AUP)

A continuación encontrara el Formulario de Acuse de Recibo del Código de Conducta Estudiantil y Política de Uso Acep table (AUP, por sus siglas
en inglés) del WISD. Tanto un padre o guardián como el estudiante deberá firm ar y fechar este form ulario y devolverlo a su cam pus de W ISD.
En un esfuerzo por conservar papel y seguir siendo fiscalmente m ás responsable, el equipo del distrito ha decidido nuevamente lanzar el Código
de Conducta Estudiantil de este año en el sitio de Web del distrito. Este Código electrónico está situado en la página principal del sitio Web del
distrito, en: http://www.wisd.org. La oficina principal de cada cam pus cuenta con una copia m aestra del Código, y todos los padres pueden
solicitar una copia im presa gratis en el Edificio de Adm inistración del WISD en 411 North Gibson Street.
Reiteramos que para el WISD es un gran orgullo y responsabilidad mantener seguros y protegidos a todos los cam pus. Es la m eta del distrito
trabajar juntos con la com unidad para fom entar un am biente de aprendizaje seguro y protegido para cada estudiante.
