MINISTRY TO THE SICK & HOMEBOUND
Call the parish office to make arrangements to administer this
sacrament for one who is sick or homebound or in the hospital.
The Parish Priests visit the sick & homebound and administer
the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the
sacrament of the sick on the First Friday of the month.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound on weekends.

PRESCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM
All Souls Preschool Summer Program will be running
from June 22nd—August 14th, 2015 for children ages
3-5. We have weekly themes and tuition for you to pick and
choose to fit your schedule. We have full time and part time options.

SUNDAY PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
Sunday Preschool registrations are now being accepted for
the fall 2015-16 school year for children ages 3-5 years old
in both English and Spanish. While parents attend the 10:30
am English or 12 Noon Spanish Mass the child will be cared
for and introduced to God through Bible stories, activities
and song at their appropriate age level. Requirements include a copy of the child's baptismal certificate, the child
must be potty trained, and the registration form completed &
mailed back to Rosa Gomez, Preschool Coordinator. There
is a $35 registration fee. A check or money order needs to
be made out to All Souls Religious Education and in the
memo write Sunday Preschool. Mail it to Rosa Gomez, Preschool Coordinator, by August 02nd. Please call Rosa at
650-589-0998 for your registration form. If no answer
please leave a message with your name, address & telephone number and the form will be sent to you.

Reflexiones del Párroco:
En el Evangelio de hoy Jesús está en un punto crucial en su ministerio público. La
"tormenta violenta" en el mar provoca terror
en los discípulos. En el contexto de la calma
de la tormenta en el lago de Galilea, San Marcos presenta, la orden de Jesús al viento y el mar y sus preguntas a
sus discípulos: '¿Por qué estas aterrorizado? ¿Aún no tienes
fe?" La respuesta de Jesús implica que si tenían fe no estarían aterrados. Uno puede imaginar y casi ver en los ojos
de sus discípulos quienes están asombrados: "¿quién entonces es éste que el viento y el mar obedecen?"
El Evangelio de hoy forma parte de una serie de pasajes
de San Marcos, articulando la perspectiva que aceptar la
llegada del Reino de Dios significa presenciar el derrocamiento
violento de las fuerzas del mal en el mundo.
El
Reino de Dios no viene sin problemas pero a través de
trastornos en nuestras vidas.
En medio de la adversidad, tenemos que confiar en la
presencia salvadora de Dios que triunfa sobre las aguas
del mar. En medio de la angustia debemos acudir al Señor con Fe, a quien incluso el viento y el mar obedecen.
Le tomará mucho tiempo, a los discípulos, quizás tres largos años con muchas subidas y bajadas, llegando a
creer, en la compañía de Jesús, de testificar su ministerio
público y finalmente estar en sintonía para recibir la revelación de ‘Dios el Padre’ que San Pedro tendría la fuerza
para profesar su fe personal en Jesús: "Usted es el Cristo
el Hijo del Dios viviente".
Hoy les rendimos homenaje a todos los padres,
padrastros, abuelos y mentores paternales.

ARREGLANDO LA CASA DE DIOS

orgullo a la generación que viene.
La ‘Campaña para Arreglar la Casa de Dios” continúa en la reparación y el mantenimiento. Gracias a ustedes por su apoyo y
generosidad.
“Arreglar las Puertas de Acero” del Templo. Cuatro pares de
puertas exteriores nuevas de acero han sido instaladas. Hemos
sellado-protegido la superficie de metal de estas puertas de la
corrosión con pintura automotriz de color oro. El trabajo se ha
completado. El costo fue de $ 45,831.18.
El trabajo en los “Nuevos Baños en el Salón Parroquial” esta
en progreso. Consiste de un baño para discapacitados unisex,
tres inodoros y lavamanos para mujeres y un baño con dos urinarios y lavamanos para los hombres.
Se espera terminar este trabajo para a mediado del mes de Junio
del 2015. El costo estimado es de $ 204,164.00. Este dinero viene de la cuenta de ahorros de el Festival Parroquial. (hemos
ahorrado por 10 años)

APELACIÓN ANUAL DEL ARZOBISPO DEL 2015
Cada año nuestro Arzobispo pide nuestra ayuda para apoyarlo
en operar las oficinas centrales de la Arquidiócesis a fin de
coordinar y administrar los recursos de diversas parroquias de
la Arquidiócesis.
El costo de este esfuerzo se distribuye entre parroquias en
nuestros tres condados de San Mateo, San Francisco y Marin.
Nuestra participación en el costo de este año es $ 47,900.00.
Hasta la fecha hemos recibido $ 11,275.00 en efectivo, cheques y tarjetas de crédito y $ 1,170.00 en la forma de promesas
que ascienden a un total de $ 12,445.00 que es el 25.98% de
nuestra meta. Todavía faltan $ 35,455.00.

Inscripciones para la Escuelita Dominical están siendo aceptadas para el año escolar
2015-16 para niños de 3 a 5 años en Inglés y Español. Mientras que los padres asisten a
la Misa de 10:30 am en Inglés o la de 12 del Mediodía en Español cuidaremos del niño y lo presentarémos a Dios a través de historias de la Biblia, actividades y canciones
en su nivel apropiado de acuerdo a su edad. Los requisitos incluyen una copia del certificado de bautismo, el niño debe de estar entrenado para ir al baño y el formulario de inscripción completo y enviado por correo a Rosa Gómez, Coordinadora de la Escuelita
