You can use Tener que to give excuses like the ones below:
Tengo que ir a la casa de mi abuela. I have to go to my grandma’s house.
Tengo que hacer la tarea. I have to do my homework.
Tengo que practicar el piano. I have to practice the piano.
Tenemos que ir con la familia a la iglesia. I have to go with my family to church.
