Dear Sir / Madam Today is a big day for our Company: following months of preparation, we overcame the final obstacles to complete the merger of Hapag-Lloyd and CSAV’s container business. By joining forces we will create the fourth largest liner shipping company with a large footprint on all Latin American and the North Atlantic trades. During the coming weeks both businesses will continue to operate separately before we start the integration of the CSAV container business into Hapag-Lloyd. It is planned that the integration will be started in the first quarter 2015. During this transition phase, Hapag-Lloyd and CSAV will honor all present contracts with our individual vendors. All our vendors are requested to honour all existing contractual arrangements with each entity and until further notice. All vendor invoices should continue to be sent to the ordering Line only as this will guarantee an adequate handling of your business during this transition phase and until full combination of our businesses. We kindly ask you adhere to the above request and trust that all business activities will continue without interruption.
