Opening: Listen to poem “En una tempestad”, review of literary Guided practice: In pairs read and understand stanza from poem “En una tempestad”. Independent practice: Pairs analyze stanza from poem “En una tempestad”, literary devices, style, tone. Create a drawing of stanza. Follow Up: Prepare assigned reading for review week. Independent practice: Pairs present review of assigned reading. Students complete review, ask questions to presenters.
