CELEBRANDO NUESTRA INDEPENDENCIA…NUESTRA LIBERTAD
Apreciados amigos, ¡Feliz día de Independencia! Tanto el 4 de Julio para los Estados Unidos, como
durante todo este mes de Julio, en muchos diferentes países de Centro y Sud América se celebra ese día
tan precioso, cuando nuestras naciones finalmente se declararon libres de toda opresión que otros
gobiernos tenían sobre nuestras países.
También, aprovechando esta ocasión tan significativa durante este mes de Julio, deseo celebrar junto
con todos ustedes el día de nuestra libertad e independencia espiritual. Ese día precioso, cuando,
estando atrapados y encadenados al gobierno del diablo, sus maldiciones y opresión, fuimos finalmente
libertados de esa esclavitud que nos tenía viviendo lejos del ideal de Dios, de nuestros sueños y del
propósito de Dios.
Este acto de libertad llegó a mi vida cuando tenía solo 28 años de edad. En esa época estaba envuelto en
el narcotráfico a gran escala en Sudamérica, junto con mi Padre, a quien asesinaron en Cali, Colombia,
los mismos sicarios de los carteles en aquel tiempo.
Después de experimentar persecución, el encarcelamiento de mi madre y mis hermanos menores y
cuando estaba listo para tomar venganza; mi Señor Jesucristo apareció a mi vida. En un sueño, El me
siguió y no me dejó hasta aquel milagroso día, cuando el mismo Espíritu Santo, me guió hasta un
pequeño templo llamado, “Emanuel” de Ventanilla. Fue ahí donde recibí la Palabra de Dios, acepté a
Cristo en mi corazón y experimenté en ese mismo momento, el milagro del nuevo nacimiento; el
milagro de mi libertad y de mi verdadera independencia. Ese día por primera vez en toda mi existencia,
experimente mi verdadera libertad… ¡OH! ¡PRECIOSA LIBERTAD LA QUE JESUCRISTO DA!
Creo con todo mi corazón que la libertad política que todos disfrutamos es limitada; porque no nos da
libertad contra aquellas cadenas de error satánicas que gobiernan la vida de la gente y los obliga a tomar
decisiones que traen dolor a sus vidas, a su familia, su esposa(o), sus hijos. Aunque podemos tener
libertad de expresión y de prensa de asociación, no tenemos libertad de aquellos monstruos de
egoísmo, orgullo, depresión, desilusión, soledad, desconfianza, fracaso, y otros más.
Querido amigo, deseo asegurarle que no hay milagro más grande que la libertad que viene de Cristo. El
Señor Jesús dijo en Juan 8:31-32 a todos los judíos que habían creído en El, “Si vosotros permanecéis en
mi palabra, seréis verdaderamente mis discípulos; y conoceréis la verdad, y “LA VERDAD OS HARA
VERDADERAMENTE LIBRES”. Esta otra clase de libertad, libera tu alma y quita toda opresión del fracaso
y del temor; es esta libertad la que te devuelve la imagen del verdadero hijo de Dios.
Ahora sí podemos celebrar el día de la independencia, la independencia política, pero sobre todo, la
independencia y libertad espiritual que viene por medio del Señor Jesucristo. No esperes más, acércate
a El y entrégale tu corazón, experimenta esta bendita libertad y sabrás lo que significa ser
verdaderamente libre.
¡Sé Bendecido y Feliz día de la Independencia total en Cristo Jesús!

CELEBRATING OUR INDEPENDENCE…OUR FREEDOM
Dear friends, ¡Happy Independence Day! The 4th of July and in other dates close to this one, in many
different countries of South and Central America, we celebrate this precious celebration, when our
nations finally declared themselves free from all oppression of the government that had them bound.
Also, as we remember the significance of this celebration during the month of July, I wish to celebrate
along with you the spiritual Independence and freedom we have. That precious day, when after being
trapped and chained up by the government of the devil, and his curses and the oppression he inflicted
upon us, we were set free from the bondage that separated us from God’s plans, from His dreams and
His purposes.
This act of freedom came to my life when I was 28 years old. In this time I had been involved in the
world of drug trafficking in South America, alongside my father, who was murdered in Cali, Colombia, by
the drug cartel of that time.
After experiencing persecution, my mother and younger brothers’ imprisonment, I was ready to take
revenge; but my Lord Jesus Christ came to my life. In a dream, He followed me and did not let me go
until one miraculous day, when the very Spirit of God guided me to a small church called “Emanuel” in
Ventanilla, Peru. It was there where I received the Word of God and accepted Christ in my heart. It was
there where I experienced in that very instant, the miracle of the new birth; the miracle of true freedom
and independence. That day, for the first time in all of my life, I experienced true freedom… OH HOW
PRECIOUS IS THE FREEDOM THAT JESUS GIVES!
I believe with all my heart that the political freedom we all enjoy is limited; because it does not provide
us with freedom from all the chains of satanic error that govern people’s lives and obligates them to
make decisions that bring pain to their lives, families, spouses, and children. Although we do have
freedom of expression and press, we are still not free from the monsters of egocentrism, pride,
depression, disappointment, distrust, failure, and many others.
Dear Friend, I want to assure you that there is no greater miracle than the one that comes from Jesus
Christ. Jesus said in John 8:31-32 to all of the Jews who believed in Him, “If you hold to my teaching, you
are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.” This other
kind of freedom frees your soul and takes away all oppression of failure and fear; it is this freedom that
restores you to the image of a true son or daughter of God.
Now we can celebrate Independence Day, political independence, but above all, the independence and
spiritual freedom that comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. Do not wait any longer, come close to Jesus
and give Him your heart, experience this blessed freedom and you will know what it means to be truly
free.
