Dear Parents
I can’t believe how quickly September has gone by! Fall has arrived and the leaves will
soon begin to change. October will bring some nice changes to Belmont Hills as well. On
Saturday, October 5th, we will be hosting “Hands of Atlanta” for their day of service project.
The Manhattan Group, a Software company in Atlanta has again selected our school in
conjunction with this event and will be sending us volunteers to work on landscaping projects
needed throughout our property. I encourage families that are able to come and assist on that
day to do so.
As always I ask that you review the calendar and become familiar with all the activities
we have planned for the month. Please keep an eye out for flyers with details about the
upcoming Parent Conferences the week of Oct. 21st-25th, the Storybook Character Parade on
Oct 25th and our Fall Festival/60th year celebration taking place on Oct 26th.
I look forward to seeing all of you at these events!

Yo no puedo creer que rápido se fué septiembre! El otoño a llegado y pronto las hojas
empezarán a cambiar. Octubre traerá algunos cambios a Belmont Hills también. El sábado 5 de
octubre “Hands of Atlanta” estará aquí, con sus projectos. El Manhattan Group, una compañia
de software en Atlanta, ha seleccionado de nuevo a nuestra escuela, en conjunction con este
evento, y enviarán voluntarios para trabajar en projectos necesarios en las áreas verdes de
nuestra propiedad. Yo animo a las familias que pudan venir y ayuden ese día.
Como siempre, yo le pido a ustedes que revisen el calendario y se familiaricen con todas
las actividades que tenemos planeadas para este mes. Mantengase atenta por los anuncios
detallados sobre la semana de conferencias, del 21 al 25 de octubre, la Parada de Personajes de
Libros de Cuentos el día 25, y nuestro Festival de Otoño y la Celebración de los 60 años el 26.
