While most world language students do not begin to conjugate verbs until middle school, at AEES we begin to use different forms of several common verbs in second grade to increase the possibilities for conversation. Kindergarten and first grade students learn only the first person singular and third person singular of verbs. (I, He, She, It) Second through fifth grades begin to conjugate verbs for first, second and third person singular.
