Set up a new scanning session
2.1
Reading & Saving Tag Data
To read and save your scan, proceed as follows:
Press S to enter the Menu
Press the left arrow 3 times, press S to open Data File Menu
Press S to create a “New File”
A new file appear with the title <BS+yymmdd_time>
Press the ON/OFF button 3 times until you are back to the reading screen
Your Bluestick and your data file are now ready for you to begin scanning your livestock.
All tags will be recorded in this data file until a new one is created.
NOTE: when a tag is read for the first time, the reader will beep and vibrate twice. If the tag is
read a second time, the reader will only beep and vibrate once and this second reading will not
recorded.

2.1.1 Continuous Reading Function
The Continuous Reading functions allows the user to scan uninterruptedly animals.
Press S to enter the Menu.
Press right arrow 2 times and open configuration Menu.
Press right arrow 2 times and select Continuous Reading. Press S to switch on/off the function.
2.2
How to Delete a File
Press S to enter the Menu.
Press left arrow 3 times, press S to open Data File Menu.
“New File” appear, press right arrow 2 times to select Delete File. Press S to browse or search
the file to delete.
Press the right arrow to find the file you want to delete.
Once the file has been deleted, press the POWER button twice to return to scanning mode.
NOTE: the Bluestick reader has a default File (BS+000000_0000) which can’t be deleted,
regardless of whether it contains or not any data.

Transfer data from Bluestick to your computer
Install the Rumisoft Software (already stored on the reader) on your pc to transfer data form the
reader to your pc.
For further information, refer to the Bluestick User Manual. You can download it from Datamars
website or connect the reader to your pc using the USB cable and open the folder Doc.

Configurar una nueva sesión de lectura
2.1
Leer y guardar las lecturas de los microchips
Para leer y guardar sus lecturas, proceda de la siguiente manera:
Presione S para ingresar al menú.
Presione la flecha izquierda 3 veces, presione S para abrir el menú “Fichero de Datos”.
Presione S para crear un nuevo fichero de datos.
Un nuevo fichero de datos aparecerá con el título <BS+aammdd_hora>
Presione el botón Encendido/Apagado 3 veces hasta volver a la pantalla de lectura
Su lector y su fichero de datos están listos para que usted comience a leer su ganado.
Todos los microchips leídos serán guardados en esto fichero hasta que un nuevo fichero
sea creado.
NOTA: cuando un identificador electrónico es leído por primera vez, el lector emitirá un pitido y
vibrará dos veces. Si el mismo identificador es leído por segunda vez, el lector solo emitirá y
vibrará una sola vez, y esta lectura no será guardada en el fichero de datos.
LECTURA EXITOSA
La siguiente pantalla muestra el resultado de una lectura exitosa:

2.1.1 Función de Lectura Continua
La función de lectura continua le permite al usuario leer animales de manera ininterrumpida.
Presione S para ingresar al menú.
Presione 2 veces la flecha derecha y abra el menú configuración.
Presione 2 veces la flecha derecha y seleccione “Lectura continua”.
Presiones S para activar o desactivar dicha función.
2.2
Cómo borrar un fichero
Presione S para entrar al Menú.
Presione la flecha izquierda 3 veces, presione S para abrir el menú Fichero de Datos.
Aparecerá la opción “Nuevo Fichero”. Presione 2 veces la flecha derecha para seleccionar
“Borrar Fichero”. Presione S para examinar o buscar el fichero a eliminar.
Presione la flecha derecha para buscar el fichero que desee eliminar.
Una vez que el fichero haya sido eliminado, presione el botón de encendido/apagado dos
veces para retornar al modo de lectura.
NOTA: el lector Bluestick tiene un fichero por defecto (BS+000000_0000) que no puede ser
eliminado, ya sea que contenga o no algún tipo de información.

Transferir la información desde su Bluestick hacia una PC
Instalar el software Rumisoft (el mismo se encuentra en la memoria de su lector) para transferir la
información almacenada desde el lector hacia su pc.
Para obtener información adicional, consulte el manual de usuario del Bluestick. Podrá descargar
desde el sitio web de Datamars o conectando su lector a la pc mediante el cable USB y
examinando la carpeta Doc.

Impostare una sessione di lettura
2.1
Leggere e salvare
Per iniziare la scansione dei vostri animali e salvare i dati, procedere come segue:
Premere S per entrare nel Menu
Premere il tasto sinistro 3 volte e premere S per selezionare “Files di dati”
Premere S per aprire “Nuovo File”
Un file nuovo viene visualizzato con il nome <BS+yymmdd_time>
Premere il tasto ON/OFF 3 volte per tornare alla schermata iniziale
Il lettore Bluestick e il vostro file dati sono pronti per iniziare una nuova sessione di lettura.
Tutti i tags letti verrano registrati in questo file fino a quando non sarà creato un nuovo file.
NOTA: quando un tag viene letto per la prima volta, il lettore emette un “bip” e vibra due volte.
Se il tag viene letto per la seconda volta, il lettore emette un bip ma vibra solo una volta e la
seconda lettura non viene registrata.

2.1.1 Funzione di Lettura Continua
Questa funzione permette di leggere i vostri animali senza interruzioni, in modo continuo.
Premere S per entrare nel Menu.
Premere il tasto destro 2 volte e aprire il menu Configurazione.
Premere il tasto destro 2 volte e selezionare “Lettura Continua”. Premere il tasto S
per attivare/disattivare la funzione.
2.2
Cancellare un File
Premere S per entrare nel Menu.
Premere il tasto sinistro 3 volte e premere S per aprire il menu “Files di dati”.
Premere il tasto sinistro 2 volte e selezionare il menu “Cancella File”.
Premere S per entrare nel sotto menu “Cancella file”.
Selezionare con il tasto destro il file da cancellare e confermare SI/NO.
Dopo aver cancellato il file, premere il tasto ON/OFF due volte per ritornare nella modalità
di lettura.
NOTA: il lettore Bluestick ha per default il file (BS+000000_0000) che non può essere eliminato,
anche se non contiene nessun dato.

Trasferire i dati dal Bluestick al vostro computer
Installare il Rumisoft (già salvato nel lettore) sul vostro pc per trasferire i dati delle lettura dal
lettore al vostro computer.
Per ulteriori informazioni, fare riferimento al Manuale d’Uso del Bluestick. Il manuale può essere
scaricato dal sito Datamars o dal lettore tramite USB, aprendo la cartella Doc.
