Next Two Weeks At-A-Glance:
Announcements:
08/17: Staff Wellness Wednesday, no after-school events,
tutoring, or practices unless specified.

High school scholars are consider tardy at 7:36am and must
enter through the Main Office (West side doors) for a tardy
pass. Instruction time begins at
7:35am promptly, if your scholar is
not in their seat they risk losing credit
for the course.

09/08: Back to School Blast, 5:30pm– 7:30pm
Volunteers in Partnership (VIP) &
Family Engagement:
If you are interested in volunteering at the school, please
call the main office. Be sure to give your contact information, the day and time you would like to come in to
support. We will work as quickly as possible to get a
volunteer opportunity. Please be sure to sign in & out at
the front office to record your volunteer hours. Remember
that families are required to complete 20 hours of school
involvement per school year.


9th Grade Trip to SMU is on Tuesday, 8/23
from 9am-2pm. All of our 9th grade scholars will tour Southern Methodist University and have lunch on campus. Scholars
will receive their permission slips in their Professional Communications class. Scholars must bring back their permission slips
no later than Friday, 8/19.

Uniform Checks happen every morning when
scholars enter the building and when scholars arrives to their
first class. Please support us in making sure that your scholar
has the appropriate uniform on daily. If you have any questions or concerns about your scholars uniforms, please call the

Thursday, 9/8 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the gym. Parents are
invited to meet their scholars’ teachers, the Leadership team,
and learn more about how to stay informed and connected.
