FERNANDO BECKER ZUAZUA (León, 1955) Vice Chairman of FUNDACIÓN IBERDROLA ESPAÑA Mr. Becker is Vice Chairman of FUNDACIÓN IBERDROLA ESPAÑA. He holds a Postgraduate Degree in Economics from the Madrid Autonomous University, and is a Professor of Applied Economics at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He is a permanent member (num. 77) of the Royal Academy of Academic Doctors (Political Studies and Economics). Professional experience Mr. Becker has been Minister of Economy and Finance in the Castile and León Regional Government, Executive Chairman of the Official Credit Institute (ICO), and a member of the Board of Directors of Argentaria y Banco Europeo de Inversiones (BEI), among others. He is currently Iberdola's Head of Corporate Resources, and Vice Chairman of Neoenergía. Career highlights relevant to his post on the Board of Trustees Mr. Becker is Chairman of the Centre for Economic Studies at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He is a member of the group of experts of the Economic and Social Council of the Region of Madrid. He is also a trustee of the following foundations: Foundation of Applied Economic Studies (FEDEA), José Ortega y Gasset and Gregorio Marañón Foundation and Claudio SanchezAlbornoz Foundation. He has also been Chairman of the ICO Foundation, trustee of the Institute of Economic Studies and of the Argentaria Foundation, among others. Mr. Becker is also a member of the editorial board of several economics publications (i.e.: Editorial Board of the magazine “Economistas” published by the Institute of Economists in Madrid, “Revista de Análisis Financiero” published by the Foundation of Financial Studies and the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts. “Revista de Ciencias Sociales” published by the Ortega y Gasset Research Institute, “Cuadernos de economía” of the Madrid Autonomous University and “Revista de Responsabilidad Social de la Empresa” published by the Luis Vives Foundation); and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the magazine “Procesos de Mercado” published by the “Unión Editorial” and the Rey Juan Carlos University.
