IMPULSE WELDING
The impulse welding technique is a
unique alternative for high frequency, hot
air, hot wedge or ultrasonic welding of all
kinds of fabrics: a thin metal strip is heated
and pressed on the fabric to transmit the
heat. The method has a lot of advantages
with respect to traditional solutions: a welding length up to 580 cm ensures a seamless weld and a short cycle time, settings
are very simple and maintenance costs are
reduced to a minimum. In contrast with
high frequency welding, impulse welding is
not dangerous for humans or the environment. The technique is very suitable for
welding of (sun)screen, PVC fabrics and
PVC coated fabrics. Other textiles such as
acrylic and polyester fabrics and PU coated fabrics can be bonded using a unique
thermoplastic film. At the same time Teflon,
ETFE and silicone coated fabrics can be
processed. All machines are easy to operate and the price level and power consumption are very favourable. ASCO has

Die Wärmeimpulsschweißtechnik ist
eine gute Alternative zu Hochfrequenz-,
Heißluft-, Heizkeil- oder Ultraschallverfahren
für eine Vielzahl von Geweben. Bei diesem
System wird ein dünner Metallstreifen erhitzt
und auf das Gewebe gedrückt, das Gewebe
schmilzt und verbindet sich. Die Vorteile der
Wärmeimpulstechnik sind: Schweißnähte
ohne Nahtansatz bis 580 cm, kurze
Zykluszeiten, nur ein Arbeitsgang. Die
Maschineneinstellungen sind sehr einfach
gehalten und die Wartungskosten auf ein
Minimum reduziert. Im Gegensatz zum
Hochfrequenzschweißen ist das
Wärmeimpulssystem nicht gefährlich für
Mensch oder Umwelt. Die Technik ist ideal
geeignet für das Schweißen von Screens,
PVC-Planen und PVC beschichteten Geweben.
Andere Textilien wie Acryl- und Polyestergewebe sowie PU beschichtete Gewebe
können unter Verwendung einer zusätzlich
aufbrachten Schweißhilfe verbunden werden.
Es können auch Teflon, ETFE und Silikon
beschichtete Gewebe verschweißt werden.
Alle Maschinen sind einfach zu bedienen und
das Preisniveau und der Stromverbrauch sind

La técnica de soldadura por impulsos
es la única alternativa a la soldadura por alta
frecuencia, aire caliente, cuña caliente o soldadura por ultrasonido de toda clase de
telas: se calienta una fina tira de metal y se
presiona sobre el tejido para transmitir el
calor. Este método de soldadura tiene muchas
ventajas en comparación con las soluciones
tradicionales: es capaz de soldar con una
longitud de 580 cm, y se asegura una soldadura sin costuras y con un corto tiempo del
ciclo, los parámetros son muy simples y los
costes de mantenimiento se reducen al mínimo. A diferencia de la soldadura por alta frecuencia, la soldadura por impulsos no es
peligrosa para las personas ni para el medio

VM300
With the VM300 and VM400 folding
machine, screen, PVC and other fabrics
are folded and clamped in a special plastic
U-profile. This process guarantees an
exact flat fold for welding a hem pocket
with, for example, an IL110 welding machine. After welding, the U-profile is removed
and can be used again. U-profiles are available up to a maximum length of 400 cm.

IL110
Con las máquinas de doblar VM300 y

especial en forma de “U” este proceso
garantiza un exacto y plano doblado para

máquina de soldar IL110. Después de

ILX110
The universal welding machine IL110
with a welding length of 110 cm has a very
favourable price level. The machine is
designed for all welding operations: reinforcement tapes, hem pockets, joining fabrics, splines and zippers. Because of the
extra space at the backside of the machine
it is very suitable to join several panels. The
IL110 welding machine is delivered complete with a fabric trough and a flat working
table on both sides.
For welding silicone coated fabrics and ETFE
foil, a special machine model SIL110 is available. The SIL110 is designed for welding
temperatures up to 240 °C and welding with
high pressure. Other additional features are:
a welding width up to 24 mm, touch screen
control, a temperature control and a quick
change system for the Teflon tape.
For the Sign industry, a special model
ILX110 is available. The ILX110 has the
same functionality as the IL110 but has a
welding width up to 24 mm and is equipped
with a touch screen.

Die universelle Wärmeimpulsschweißmaschine IL110 mit einer Schweißlänge von
110 cm ist ein sehr preisgünstiges Modell.
Die Maschine ist entwickelt worden für eine
Vielzahl von Schweißvorgängen wie, Verstärkungsbänder, Säume, Verbindungsnähte,
Keder und Reißverschlüsse. Aufgrund einer
zusätzlichen Ablagefläche auf der Rückseite
der Maschine ist die Maschine sehr gut
geeignet um zwei Tücher miteinander zu
verbinden. Die IL110 Schweißmaschine wird

AUTOMATIC FOLDING AND WELDING MACHINES
IL430
The fully automatic folding and
welding machines IL315, IL350 and IL430 are
unique machines to automatically fold and
perfectly weld fabrics in one process. The
IL580 is the latest addition to this range and
it is one of the biggest automatic welding
machines available on the market. On all
machines, the hem pocket size is easily
adjustable and the control of the machine
is very simple. Even an inexperienced
operator will get a matchless welding
quality. The welding machines meet all the
safety requirements and are very reliable.
Optionally the machines can be equipped
to join fabrics, weld tunnels, splines, zippers or reinforcement tape. Due to the
open construction of all the machines,
welding to any length is possible without
the automatic folding process.
Because of the longer welding length and
maximum welding width of 24 mm, the
IL430 and IL580 are ideal machines for
welding awnings or to fold and weld
pockets on big screens and billboards.
Alternatively, the machines are also
available as welding only machines IL315ZV, IL350-ZV and IL430-ZV (without the
automatic folding unit).

The touch screen control, which is
available as an option for all welding
machine, is an ideal solution to store the
different welding parameters for each
fabric. Combined with the accurate
temperature control, the welding quality is
absolutely guaranteed and almost any
fabric can be handled with a perfect and
constant quality.
The touch screen also shows maintenance
warnings and has a diagnostic function.
As an option it is possible to import order
data directly or use a barcode scanner.

The AC100 and AC220 thermoplastic
tape are unique self-adhesive hot melt
films to bond a wide range of fabrics that
normally cannot be welded such as
polyester and, acrylic fabrics, PU coated
fabrics and green screens. For easy
application, the film is coated with a
pressure sensitive adhesive on one side so
it does not move after putting it on. The
tapes can be used with any welding
machine for inside and outside applications
and are available in 6, 10 and 20 mm width.
A technical data sheet and ageing tests
are available on request.
As an option an automatic solution for
applying the hot melt tape is available.
AC100 und AC200 sind spezielle
thermoplastischen Bänder für Schweißverbindungen. Es können Geweben verbunden werden, wie z.B. Polyester, Acryl

Screens, welche normal nicht verschweißt
werden können. Für die einfache
Anwendung ist das Band auf einen Seite

verwendet werden, für innen und außen.
Die Bänder sind in 6, 10 und 20 mm Breite
erhältlich. Ein technischen Datenblatt ist
auf Anfrage erhältlich.
Eine weiter erhältliche Option ist das automatische Aufbringen des Schweißbandes.
