Lenten Stations
During Lent season, the Stations of the
Cross are prayed every Friday at
6:30pm
Meatless Fridays
On Friday, during Lent Catholics
fourteen years of age and older are
obliged to abstain from the eating of
meat. This is a simple reminder to us of
the great value of doing penance during
Lent, and of course each of us should
find other ways to discipline ourselves
and make sacrifices every day
throughout Lent, if not necessarily on
Sundays. These practices of selfmortification strengthen us to overcome
our moral weaknesses and to identify
with Jesus in his suffering.
Saint Patrick’s Dinner will be on
Sunday March 06, 2016 at 1pm in the
parish hall. Food will be catered by
John Fogarty’s restaurant. Tickets are
now available at the rectory and the
vestibule of the church for the price of

The 11th Annual Divine Mercy Conference

La colecta del fin de semana pasado fue de
$3,075.00 dólares. La segunda colecta en
beneficio a la organización Catholic New
York fue de $1,062.00 dólares. ¡Gracias por

Época Cuaresmal
Las Estaciones de la Cruz se llevan a cabo
cada viernes durante la Cuaresma
empezando a las 6:30pm.
Cuaresma
Cuaresma es temporada para reflexionar y
hacer un pequeño sacrificio. Como católicos,
la iglesia nos sugiere abstenernos de comer
carne durante los viernes, aquellos mayores
de 14 años de edad deben de tratar de
mantener el sacrificio. La cuaresma nos
ayuda a fortalecer nuestras debilidades
morales y nos ayuda acercarnos más a Jesús
en sus sufrimientos.
Misa de Sanacion
Miércoles, Febrero 24. Con el Santo rosario a
las 7pm y Misa a las 7:30pm con unción a los
enfermos. El Celebrante será Padre Benjamin
Palacio y el Ministerio Sagrada Familia nos
acompañara.
Se les invita a todos los fieles de esta
parroquia a un retiro de Cuaresma el día 28
de febrero de 10am-5pm. Tiene por precio
$10 dólares. El retiro será dirigido por Rafael
Alfonso Cuenca Fajardo y Olga Lucia Vélez

A toda la comunidad parroquial, ya están
abiertas las inscripciones para el Matrimonio
Comunitario que se celebrara el día 18 de
junio del 2016. Requisitos para recibir el
sacramento del Matrimonio: certificado de
Bautismo y asistir al cursillo prematrimonial.
Por tercer año consecutivo, el día 17 de abril
realizaremos nuestra kermés anual. Habrá
música, comida y se rifaran $1,000 como
primer premio, $500 para el segundo premio,
una tableta para el tercer premio. Pero no se
desanimen que también tendremos premios
de consuelo. El precio por ticket es de $10
