Adverbios de cantidad : A lot of, some, a little, many, a few Sustantivos contables y no-contables Existen 2 tipos de sustantivos los contables y los no-contables. Los contables son muy fáciles de identificar porque son cosas que tú puedes contar además, pueden ser singular o pluraly usarse con los artículos a/ an para los sustantivos singulares. Ex: Three pears (tres peras) An apple (una manzana) Los no-contables son sustancias, conceptos que no podemos dividir por separado ni contar, además son usados sólo como singulares. Por ejemplo no podemos contar el agua (uncontable noun) pero si botellas de agua, vasos de agua (contable noun). Si se trata de sustantivos contables, se aplica How many…? Si se trata de sustantivos incontables, se usa How much…? Ejemplos: How much sugar do you need? How many potatoes are necessary? How much milk is there? ¿Cuánta azúcar necesitas? ¿Cuántas papas son necesarias? ¿Cuánta leche hay? Este tipo de preguntas siempre empieza de la misma manera: How many/ much + Sustantivo contable/ no-contable + ? Ambas pueden ser usadas con sustantivos contables o no-contables. Some y Any significan: alguno, alguna, algunos, algunas, algo de Any se usa en oraciones interrogativas y negativas(algo de, ningún, ninguna, ningunas, ningunos, nada de) Some se usa para oraciones afirmativas (alguno, alguna, algunos, algunas) Ejemplos: I have some friends but not many (affirmative sentence) You don’t need any sugar to make pancakes (negative sentence) Do you have any ideas for your project?
