On February 4, 2013, the Ft. Lupton plant shut down in order to
change out the existing 8x20 Deister screen, and put in a brand
new 8x24 Deister. This is the primary sizing screen, and every ton
that goes through the plant runs through this screen.
This was a big project that was performed under pressure, as rock
continued to flow out the gate throughout the project. No time
was wasted in tearing apart the water system, pulling wire,
removing the plant feed, cone feed and cone return conveyors.

By day
three,

the old
screen, and
the real
work began,
as the frame
had to be
modified to
fit the larger
screen.
After three solid weeks of work, the plant was back up and running on February 23. There were challenges along the way, but in
the end the result was an increase of 50 tons per hour, with the
possibility of up to 100 TPH in the summer. Another Rock Solid
job by the Ft. Lupton crew!

by the loss of Darl Brunner. Darl
passed away February 19th and was
a valued member of the LGE family.
Darl worked in the Colorado division
for 7 years and will be deeply missed.

El 4 de febrero de 2013, el FT. Lupton planta cerró el fin de cambiar la
pantalla actual Deister 8x20, y poner en un Deister 8x24 estrenar. Esta
es la principal pantalla de tamaño y, cada tonelada que pasa a través de la
planta se ejecuta a través de esta pantalla.
Este fue un gran proyecto que se llevó a cabo bajo presión, como la roca
continuó fluyendo hacia fuera la puerta por el proyecto. No se perdió
tiempo en desgarrando el sistema de agua, tirando del alambre, la eliminación de la alimentación de la planta, y los transportadores de alimentación cono cono de retorno.
