FUNCIONAMIENTO
Torque limiters are usually applied as
protection against overloads of various types of
facilities and machines. The maximum torque
transmitted by a limiter depends on the friction
force of the spring’s (4) between the discs. The
spring’s load is adjusted with a screw (8) to the
maximum allowable torque. The transmission is
produced by friction between the internal discs (5)
linked to the hub (1) and the external discs (6)
supported on the cover (2).
Los limitadores de par se aplican
normalmente como protectores de sobrecarga de
elementos mecánicos en diversos tipos de
instalaciones y máquinas. El par máximo
transmisible por un limitador depende de la fuerza
de fricción entre las láminas que se obtiene por
medio de resortes (4) y se regula actuando sobre la
tuerca (8). La transmisión por fricción se produce
entre las láminas interiores (5) que van acopladas
en el dentado exterior del moyú (1) y las láminas
exteriores (6) que van encajados en el casco (2).
MOUNTING
MONTAJE
The hub (1) is connected to the shaft by
keyways and fixed axially by lateral stops. The
housing (2) is joined to the other part of the
transmission and must be aligned and concentric
to the hub (1).
El moyú (1) ira enchavetado al eje y fijado
axialmente mediante topes laterales. El casco (2)
irá unido a la otra parte de la transmisión y debe
quedar alineado y concéntrico al moyú (1).
For adjusting the maximum torque without
slipping, loosen the bolt (9) that fix the screw (8).
This screw must be loosened to reduce the
maximum transmissible torque and tightened to
rise it. After adjusting the torque, the position of
the screw (8) must be fixed by tightening the bolt
(9).

Para la regulación del par límite sin
deslizamiento, se procederá a aflojar el tornillo (9)
que bloquea la tuerca (8). Para disminuir el par
límite, se debe soltar la tuerca (8) y para aumentar
se debe atar. Una vez ajustado el par límite, fijar
la posición de la tuerca (8) apretando el tornillo
(9).
