A Gift You Are Given To Use
Each person I know loves to receive gifts from
time to time. It is not that they do not give gifts also,
but they like to receive a gift - who doesn't. Some
people would tell you that they do not receive gifts at
all - I would not argue with these people if they mean
that they do not receive gifts of a materialistic kind.
However, each one of these people does receive a
fabulous gift daily although they may not appreciate it
fully, or at all.
So many people seem to ignore this gift, or
abuse this gift. There is a
definite lack of appreciation for
what they receive.
The gift I am talking about is
life. I know, you may have
expected some other really
unusual gift - in fact, life is an unusual gift when
you realize that many people around the world
loose this gift on a daily basis through no fault of
their own. For example, little children who die of
starvation, or disease, or those who are killed as
innocent victims of car bombings or civil strife.
Some people also feel that they have been
dealt a bad hand by fate and relish in their poor
me attitude for the rest of their life. What a waste.
The gift of life - a gift not to be squandered, or
abused, or wasted. Each life is to be lived fully. We
all can't all be kings or queens,
or live with harmony, or in
security. But, we all have a gift
to be fully explored, developed
and meant for more than just
putting in time. A gift meant to
share when we can, with what
we can, to whom we can.

le dan para utilizar
Cada persona que conozco le encanta recibir
regalos de vez en cuando. No es que no dan regalos
también, pero les gusta recibir un regalo - quien no.
Algunas personas dirán que ellos no reciben regalos en
absoluto - Yo no discutiría con estas personas si quieren
decir que no reciben regalos de un tipo materialista. Sin
embargo, cada una de estas personas recibe un regalo
fabuloso diaria a pesar de que no se puede apreciar en su
totalidad, o en absoluto.
Así que muchas personas parecen ignorar este
regalo, o abusar de este regalo. Hay una clara falta de
aprecio por lo que reciben.
El regalo que estoy hablando es la vida. Lo sé,
usted puede haber esperado algún otro regalo realmente
inusual - de hecho, la vida es un regalo inusual cuando te das
cuenta de que muchas personas en todo el mundo pierden
este regalo a diario por causas ajenas a su
propia cuenta. Por ejemplo, los niños que mueren de hambre
o enfermedad, o los que mueren como víctimas inocentes de
atentados con coches bomba o disturbios civiles.
Algunas personas también sienten que han sido
tratados de una mala mano por el destino y disfrutan en su
actitud pobre de mí por el resto de su vida. Qué desperdicio.
El regalo de la vida - un regalo no se desperdició, o
abusado, o se desperdicia. Cada vida es para ser vivida
plenamente. No todos podemos ser reyes o reinas, o vivir
con armonía, o en materia de seguridad. Pero, todos tenemos
un don por explotar, desarrollado y pensado para algo más
que poner en el tiempo. Un regalo destinado a compartir
cuando podemos, con lo que podemos, y con quien podemos.
