Cup Rules
The Campbell Cup will support this year to the “Campeonato Off Road Baja Sur 2016”. The number of the vehicle will be
the competitor, not the driver in fact, this way a team of whatever drivers can attempt to win the Cup, as long as they
do the proper register as a team with the organization in any race of the championship. The schedule of events is the

The maximum races to be considered for the points will be 7 of the 9 races, this means that at the end of the year, no
matter if the competitors raced the 9 races, we’ll take the best 7 scores and eliminate the 2 worst in order to get the
Champion.
The maximum points to get in a race are 7, no matter if there were more than 7 cars in the competition. This way the
points in a class with 7 or more cars will be given as follow:
Winner gets 7 points
2nd place 6 points
3rd place 5 points
4th place 4 points
5th place 3 points
6th place 2 points
All those who finish the race will get 1 point.
Those who do not finish, won’t get any points.
If there is a class with less than 7 cars, the points will be given according to the number of participants, for example:
6 participants:
1st: 6 points
2nd: 5 points
3rd: 4 points
4th: 3 points
5th: 2 points
6th: 1 point
If the participant does not finish the race, it won’t get any points.
3 participants:
1st: 3 points
2nd: 2 points
3rd: 1 point
If the participant does not finish the race, it won’t get any points.
1 participant:
1 point, just if finishes the race.
In case of tie, the criteria to use to determine winner will be:
1: More 1st places
2: More 2nd places
3: More 3rd places
4: If the tie prevails, the one who had defeated more racers during the year will win.
The classes invited to participate are all the ones invited by the championship, except
Classes 14 and 15.
Prices:
1st Place: $50,000 pesos
2nd Place: $30,000 pesos
3rd Place: $20,000 pesos
It is mandatory for the winners to attend personally the awards
ceremony to collect their price, if the winners don’t show up at
the awards, they will lose their price.

Campbell 2016
La Copa Campbell se llevará a cabo a la par con el “Campeonato Off Road Baja Sur 2016”. El número del participante
será el del vehículo de competencias, no el piloto en sí, de esta manera un equipo de los pilotos que sean podrán
ganar le copa, siempre y cuando se hayan mancomunado propiamente ante el campeonato en cualquiera de carreras
del mismo. El calendario de carreras es el siguiente:

Coyote 300. La Paz. Viernes 17 y sábado 18 de Junio. Promotor: Club Coyote.
Cabo 250. Cabo San Lucas, Julio 16 y 17. Promotor: AEABCS
Pista Rancho Probaja Nocturna. La Paz. 20 y 21 de agosto. Promotor: Probaja
Loreto Ruta Corta. Loreto, Septiembre 24 y 25. Promotor: AEABCS
Costera 300. Comondú - La Paz. 5 y 6 de noviembre. Promotor: Comisión Permanente
San José 250. San José del Cabo. 3 y 4 de diciembre. Promotor: Comisión Permanente
El máximo número de carreras consideradas para la puntuación final será 7 de las 9 competencias, de este modo, los
equipos podrán participar en las 9 fechas si así lo desean, pero al final del año se tomará en cuenta únicamente los 7
mejores resultados del año y se eliminará los dos peores.
La máxima cantidad de puntos por ganar en cada carrera serán 7, sin importar que sean más de 7 competidores, de
ese modo, la puntuación se otorgaría de la siguiente manera:
Ganador 7 puntos
2do lugar 6 puntos
3er lugar 5 puntos
4to lugar 4 puntos
5to lugar 3 puntos
6to lugar 2 puntos
Todos los que logren terminar la Carrera obtendrán un punto.
Los que no logren terminar, no tendrán puntos.
En los casos donde haya menos de 7 participantes, los puntos se otorgarán de acuerdo al número de vehículos que
arranquen, por ejemplo:
6 participantes:
1ro: 6 puntos
2do: 5 puntos
3er: 4 puntos
4to: 3 puntos
5to: 2 puntos
6to: 1 punto
Si el participante no termina la Carrera, no obtiene puntos.
3 participantes:
1ro: 3 puntos
2do: 2 puntos
3ro: 1 punto
Si el participante no termina la Carrera, no obtiene puntos.
1 participante:
1 punto, sólo si termina la carrera.
En caso de empate, el criterio para desempatar será el siguiente:
1: Más primeros lugares
2: Más segundos lugares
3: Más terceros lugares
4: Si el empate prevalece, ganará el que haya vencido a más rivales en el año.
Las clases convocadas a participar son todas las que convoca el Campeonato, a excepción
de las clases 14 y 15:
Premios:
1er lugar: $50,000 pesos
2do lugar: $30,000 pesos
3er lugar: $20,000 pesos
Será obligatorio para los ganadores acudir personalmente
a la fiesta de premiación a recoger sus premios, quien no
acate esta regla, perderá automáticamente su premio.
