Black mean spectra, shaded regions are
projections of the PCs from the mean spectra
•
The projections shows a quarter circle

distribution for IIb

Are there discrete groups or a continuum

Conclusion
Slide 10/10
• CSP-I SE SN sample: unique & quite accurate photometric measurements
i) extends from u to H band
ii) obtained on a well-understood photometric system
• Devise methods to estimate host-reddening, and in some cases, RV
à SN Ic appear to occur in more dusty environment
• Detailed analysis
→ LC templates, SEDs, bolometric LC & estimates of explosion parameters
• Spectroscopic PCA analysis: a window for classification & SN physics
• Future: CSP-II SE SN sample of ∼20 objects along with ∼100 near-IR spectra
Thank You
