Examen oral, Capítulo 7

Check the syllabus for the date of the third oral exam. From the Spanish 213 homepage, click on “Grading
Criteria for Oral Exams” and carefully read through that document. On the date of the oral exam, you must
come to class at the usual time. Your instructor will pair you with another student to complete some of the
activities described below. You must prepare all of the activities and both roles (“Estudiante #1” and
“Estudiante #2”). However, when your exam begins you will be assigned a specific role in one of the
Conversaciones and will be asked to make one of the Presentaciones. For the Presentación, you will be
allowed a small note card with up to 10 words written on it to guide you as you speak. You will turn in the
note card at the end of the exam.
I. Conversación:
A. Viaje al Caribe.
Estudiante #1: Llamas a tu agente de viajes para hacer planes para las vacaciones
de primavera en el Caribe. ¿Qué destino, qué clase de habitación, qué actividades buscas,
necesitas, quieres?
Estudiante #2: Eres el/la agente de viajes. No puedes ofrecerle al turista lo que
busca. Ofrécele otras opciones de diferentes excursiones (República Dominicana,
Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico).
B. Cuba y Estados Unidos.
Estudiante #1: Eres cubano. Hazle preguntas a tu pareja sobre lo bueno y lo malo
de EE.UU. y compara lo mejor de tu país con EE.UU.
Estudiante #2: Eres estadounidense. Hazle preguntas a tu pareja sobre lo bueno y
lo malo de Cuba y compara lo mejor de tu país con Cuba.
II. Presentación:
A. Habla de “Venezuela: situación política actual y recursos naturales”
B. Presenta tu opinión sobre el futuro de Puerto Rico y las razones que apoyan tu opinión.

2. Puerto Rico debe mantener el estatus presente?
