Sphagnum Peat Moss Plus Fertilizer. Turn the soil with a spade, shovel or tiller to ensure Sta-Green®
Enhanced Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss Plus Fertilizer is thoroughly mixed with native soil to a depth of
at least 6 inches.

loosen the top 2-3 inches. When reseeding an established lawn, mow lawn closely, bag the clippings and
rake out debris. This will allow the grass seeds to get down to the soil surface. Finally, loosen top 1/4 inch
of soil in bare or thin areas.

For vegetable gardens or landscape beds, level planting area with a garden rake to remove high and low
spots. For best growing results, refer to plant tags for ideal light, soil and plant spacing requirements.

surface area to assure good seed-to-soil contact.

NOTE: The best time to seed your lawn is in the fall, when the soil is still warm but the air is cooler. There
are fewer weeds for new grass to compete against. Diseases that attack seedlings are also less active in
the fall. If you can't seed in the fall, your next best time is the spring.

intact. Position the plant with the best side facing the desired direction. Make sure the top of the root ball
is 1 to 2 inches above the original soil level. Apply mulch (approximately 2 to 3 inches) after planting,
making sure to keep it away from the base of the tree’s trunk. Stake plant if exposed to wind, removing 6
months after first established.
