ITUC Africa: African regional Organisation of the international Trade
Union Confederation
ITUC Africa, through its General Council, which met from 15 19 October, 2012 in Accra, Ghana
adopted the report on migrant rights defence and protection and also adopted the nation wide
action for 18 December.
6 countries, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Senegal, Rwanda, Togo and Kenya have been identified at the
frontline countries that will strongly campaign nd conduct activities on 18 December. This is
not to say that there will not be activities by other affiliates of the ITUC Africa across the
continent. The point is these these 6 countries will provide leadership through action for
others.
Banners and posters are being produced. There will be national marches on that day across
these 6 countries and others.

Cette journée aura lieu au Complexe Culturel Sidi Belyout de Casablanca à partir de 11h00.
Elle a pour but de rassembler les différentes communautés migrantes de Casablanca autour de
la musique, la danse et le théâtre.
Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche de potentiels partenaires et d'éventuels sponsors
pour mener à bien ce projet. Ainsi, nous cherchons le soutien d'ONG, de collectivtés locales ou
d'entreprises qui pourraient nous aider, soit sous forme de dons en matériels, soit sous forme
d'aide financière.
