In measures 1-8 , 17-24 and 33-40 you will find a transitional motive to give more interest to the piece. These measures can also be repeated as desired using the actual handbell arrangement, body percussion patterns, any melodic ostinatos on any Orff based instrument, or any rhythmic ostinatos using any percussion instruments such as claves, hand drums, etc. ___________________________________________________________________ Ambos a dos is a question and answer song-game. The girl is pretending to look for a husband. A group of children - maybe 4 - 6 kids line up, shoulder to shoulder - without touching, with at least 2 boys in the row. The row will face a lone girl across from them - she will be facing them. The row of children chant, while moving forward towards the girl, and then moving back. When the girl chants she moves forward toward the row of kids and back again. This simple game song uses only an eight-bar melody phrase to sing all the verses, thus it is very repetitive and playable.
