Flying Food Security Expert ACF is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for ACF in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation. GENERAL OBJETIVE0 Contribute to increasing the operational capacity and improving the analysis and quality interventions in the Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) field. SPECIFIC OBJETIVES 1. Operational support in field missions in the formulation and implementation of projects, strategies, relationships with stakeholders, fundraising • Diagnosis and context analysis to support the definition of new programs in the missions of ACF-Spain. • Designing or advise and validate the proposals and reports to donors on Food Security and Livelihoods activities. • To promote an integrated and aligned with nutrition technical approach, articulated with cross-cutting issues and a focus on quality analysis and monitoring. • Advise on country programs on issues related to Food Security and Livelihoods, giving them support, identifying gaps and developing local responsiveness. • Assist in the implementation of technical ACF-Spain strategy to respond to the problems identified by countries. 2. Construction and capacity of Food Security and Livelihoods equipment for ACFSpain and its partners for quality and impact of projects • Participate in the identification of training needs of land and the definition of tools/ methodologies for improvement • Provide technical assistance, coaching and training technical staff • Participate in the development of training courses • Participate in the monitoring of operational improvement and qualitative 3. Technical development and internal coordination for Food Security and Livelihoods • Participate in defining technical strategy in the development and achievement of the annual action plan of the Technical Department on Food Security. • Capitalization of good practice and systematization of lessons learned. • Participate actively in the Mission Management Group (GMG). PROFILE • University Degree or Post Graduate Degree - agronomist, economist or other relevant profile. • Specific experience in: food security diagnostics, definition of intervention strategies, cash transfer programs, interventions in agriculture, income generation. • Training of Trainers. • Minimum of 3 years with NGOs in positions of responsibility and coordination of Food Security and Livelihoods Projects. • Languages: English compulsory, French and Spanish desired. • Ability to travel to the field frequently. REMUNERATIVE PACKAGE We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package: Temporary work contract. ACF- Spain’s remuneration system allows a salary progression based on an annual development appraisal. 25 working days of paid leave per year. Meal vouchers.
