Dear Parents,
It is that time of year!!! Yes, the sprint to the finish line is upon us. Our students have
done a wonderful job this year and have worked extremely hard in the classroom. It is
completely understandable that they are looking forward to summer vacation. However,
we need to make sure that all of our students finish strong, so that their final grades will
reflect how hard they have worked this year. I ask that you speak with your child(ren)
about working to the finish line and completing what they have started.
Last Sunday our 8th Graders along with our CCD class received the sacrament of
Confirmation. Bishop Kevin Farrell was on hand, and spoke to all of them regarding the
importance of receiving the Holy Spirit and living out their faith. Please join me in
congratulating all of them.
There have been many questions about how tuition assistance will work next year and
what is available. I do not have the full answer at this time, but understand that the
process is changing. First, in order to receive any tuition assistance, you must have
submitted an application to the Children’s Education Fund. Second, all dollars outside
of the CEF will be allocated by a financial committee that is formed within the Advisory
Council. The amount of money available is not known at this time. But let me assure
you that I am working every angle to make sure that we have enough to fund those that
truly need the assistance. Those that do receive money outside of the CEF will be asked
to do additional community hours.
We are partnering with Cowboy Stadium next year to work concessions at all games. In
order to do this we must make a year long commitment. Part of the tuition assistance
process will require a commitment to work these games, or other school events.
We are working hard to make sure that the education you child receives is the best
available, while still keeping tuition reasonable. To do this within the current economic
environment we must ask everyone to do their part.

understanding why we do this, and making the sacrifices to help keep our community
moving forward.

Estimados Padres,
Ya es ese temporado del año! Si, ya ha llegado el corridor hacia la linea final. Nuestros
alumnos han trabajado muy duro en sus clases y han hecho buen trabajo. Es
perfectamente comprensible que están buscando con ansiedad las vacaciones de verano.
Sin embargo, tenemos que asegurarnos que todos nuestros estudiantes terminan fuerte,
por lo que sus calificaciones finales reflejarán lo duro que han trabajado este año. Le pido
que hable con su hijo(s) sobre el trabajo a la línea de meta y completando lo que han
iniciado.
El domingo pasado nuestros alumnos del grado ocho juntos con los estudiantes de CCD
recibieron el sacramento de Confirmacion. El Obispo Kevin Farrell estuvo aquí y habló
con todos los alumnos sobre la importancia de recibir el Espiritu Santo y vivir nuestra fé.
Les ofrecemos felicidades a todos.
He recibido muchas preguntas sobre como trabajará la asistencia financier en el próximo
año escolar y que será disponible. No tengo la respuesta complete en este momento, pero
entiende que el proceso esta cambiando. En primer lugar, con el fin de recibir cualquier
ayuda de matrícula, usted deberá haber presentado una solicitud al Fondo para la Infancia
Educación. En segundo lugar, todos los dólares fuera del CEF, será atribuido por un
comité financiero que se forma en el Consejo Consultivo. La cantidad de dinero
disponible no se sabe en este momento. Pero permítanme asegurarles que estoy
trabajando todos los ángulos para asegurarse de que tenemos suficientes para financiar las
que realmente necesitan la ayuda. Los que reciben dinero fuera de la CEF se les pedirá
que hagan extra horas voluntarios.
Nos estamos asociando con el estadio de los Cowboys el próximo año para las
concesiones de obras en todos los partidos. Para hacer esto debemos hacer un
compromiso de un año. Parte del proceso de ayuda de matrícula se requerirá que haga un
compromiso de trabajar en estos juegos, o otros eventos escolares.

que ayudan a nuestra comunidad seguir adelante.
