Estas expresiones en inglés son ideales para el inglés académico y especial para la parte de
Speaking (examen oral) del examen de Cambridge Advanced (CAE) y el examen de IELTS.
Look at this conversation and the expressions in bold.
A: What do you think of single sex schools?
B: Well, in my opinion, students should mix together with the opposite sex at all levels of
education.
A: Yes, I'd go along with that.
C: I'm totally against that . I don’t think boys can study if girls are in the room, they get
distracted too easily.
B: No, I'm afraid I don't agree with you. If students only study with one gender, they don't
understand how to communicate in the real world.

A: I agree up to a point but, maybe it would help some students to study in a single sex
environment some of the time.
B: Well, as I see it, it makes no difference they should study hard and do five hours of
homework a night whatever school they are in.
C: That's not very practical!
A: I kind of agree with you, perhaps we should just reduce the amount of hours of homework
you recommend though.
