The Duke is an urban desert, comprised of eight
attached town homes. The modern, pure building cuts a clean
sharp edge through the randomly built environment of the
surrounding area. Compact and efficient, emphasis was placed
on sustainable design through successfully participating in
Scottsdale’s Residential Green Building Program. The Duke’s
intent is to express individuality as a singular building with
eight individual homeowners, while promoting community
through architectural transparency on the second floor.

casas unifamiliar agrupadas. El edificio moderno y puro atraviesa un ambiente construido naturalmente del área circundante para emplazarse nitidamente. Compacto y eficiente,
el enfoque se hizo en el diseño sostenible participando satisfactoriamente en el Programa de Edificio Residencial Verde
de Scottsdale. La intención del Duke es de expresar la individualidad como un edificio singular con ocho propietarios
individuales, promoviendo la conexión con la comunidad con
la transparencia arquitectónica de la segunda planta.

Stadthäusern. Das moderne, puristische Projekt bildet einen
scharfen Schnitt durch die eher belanglose und banale Bebauung der Umgebung. Der Fokus richtet sich auf einen nachhaltigen Entwurf, der sich auch in der erfolgreichen Teilnahme
am Scottsdale’s Residential Green Building Program widerspiegelt. The Duke zeugt gleichermaßen von Individualität der
acht verschiedenen Besitzer wie von Gemeinschaft, welche in
der transparenten Gestaltung des zweiten Stockwerks ihren
Ausdruck findet.

prenant huit maisons de villes mitoyennes. La construction
moderne, pure, découpe un angle net à travers l’environnement chaotique de cette zone. Compact et efficace, le design
met l’accent sur le développement durable en participant avec
succès au Programme de Construction Résidentielle Vert de
Scottsdale. L’intention de The Duke est d’exprimer l’individualité, en tant que bâtiment autonome ayant huit propriétaires
différents, tout en promouvant la communauté grâce à la
transparence architecturale du deuxième étage.
