The Role of the Intellectuals in Recent Argentina: An Approach to the
Experience of "Carta Abierta"

Abstract:
We propose to analyze the production and practices of argentine intellectual group "Carta
Abierta”. We ask about model of intellectual than they prefigure, by cultural traditions that they
updated and how they are inserted into the open political process in the Argentin,a from the
conflict between agricultural employer organizations and the Government, during the first
presidency of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.
