Madrid, 18th May 2016 Mediaset España acquires the rights of Euro 2016 The Price is fair • It will broadcast 23 games: all games played by the Spanish national team, the opening and final matches of the tournament Mediaset España has reached an agreement with CAA Eleven to purchase FTA broadcasting rights for the 2016 UEFA Eurocup at a fair price, after several stages of negotiation. A package of 23 games will be offered on FTA, one per day, with every game that the Spanish team plays and the opening and final matches of the tournament. At Euro 2016, to be held in France from June 10th to July 10th, the Spanish National team “La Roja” will try to win the tournament for the third time, a milestone that has never been achieved by any national team. With the acquisition of the broadcasting rights for the 2016Eurocup, Mediaset España will accompany the Spanish football team and all its fans once again, adding this new event to those previously offered, such as the World Cup 2010 and 2014, Euro 2012 and the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 and 2013 and the latest friendly matches of the Spanish national team.
