UPS professor took part in the VII welcome ceremony for scholarship holders in Madrid Quito, 22 January 2015 Verónica Suescún, professor at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Lorena Campo UPS professor, Juan Torres, Scholarship Coordinator and Raúl Palma, professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma in Honduras. UPS professor and researcher Lorena Campo Arauz was part of the VII welcome ceremony held by Fundacion Carolina for their scholarship holders. The event took place in Madrid, Spain on January 15th. Lorena Campo, who teaches anthropology, is the first professor in UPS to get a scholarship from Fundación Carolina for doctoral studies. In 2014 professor Campo obtained a master's degree in Cultural Studies at Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. Professor Campo is currently studying two doctoral programs, one in Health, Psychology and Anthropology in Instituto Pere Mata de la Universidad Rovira i Virgili and another in Social and Cultural Anthropology in Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
