PRINCIPAL’S BULLETIN
PTA FUNDRAISER --Our PTA fall fundraiser will be ending tomorrow, September 23rd. We are selling
32 oz. mugs with many of your favorite team logos as well as the official Jerry D. Allen mug. All mugs sell
for only $10.00! Please turn in orders and payment by tomorrow. Checks should be made payable to
JERRY D. ALLEN PTA. We have upcoming student events that are sponsored by PTA, including
Western Day, Fiesta & Reading Carnival, & we need to ensure we have the needed funds to cover the
cost of these events. We thank you in advance for supporting our PTA and the great work they do for the
benefit of our students.
PROGRESS REPORTS—1st Nine Weeks Progress Reports will go home September 23rd so
that you can see your child’s progress on their learning goals.
PARENT CAFECITO--SEPTEMBER 27
On Tuesday, September 27th at 8:30 AM we will be having a Cafecito entitled “How to Save Money
with Coupons” in the cafeteria. Don’t forget to bring your BINGO card!
EVERY CHILD READING
Parents of children birth to 4 years of age come join in the fun learning with our EVERY
CHILD READING PROGRAM! Our Every Child Reading Program will meet in the Allen
Library on Wednesday, September 28th from from 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM. This program is
intended for parents and children ages birth to 4 years old to help introduce and improve
literacy skills in young children
PARENT’S PLACE: COLORING FOR ADULTS-– All parents are invited to join Parent’s Place
for some relaxing coloring for adults. We will meet in the cafeteria on Wednesday, September
28th at 9:00 AM.
ALLEN “Strong” SPIRIT T-SHIRTS FOR SALE!
Our Allen ES Spirit youth and adult T-Shirts are on sale in the main office for only $10.00. I want to
encourage each of you to purchase the t-shirt, because every Friday for the remainder of the school
year the students and staff will wear our school colors and they students can wear their Allen
Spirit T-Shirts!

RECAUDACION DE FONDOS PARA EL PTA-Nuestra recaudación de fondos para el PTA terminara el
23 de septiembre. Estamos vendiendo tazas de 32 oz con muchos de los logos de sus equipos favoritos
así como la taza oficial de Jerry D. Allen. Las tazas se venderán por $10.00. Por favor entrega tu pedido
y pago para mañana. Cheques deben de hacerse a JERRY D. ALLEN PTA. Próximamente tendremos
eventos patrocinados por el PTA los eventos incluyen, día occidental, fiesta de lectura y carnaval, y es
necesario recaudar los fondos para cubrir el costo de estos eventos. Les agradecemos por adelantado
su apoyo al PTA y el gran trabajo que hacen en beneficio de nuestros estudiantes.
REPORTES DE PROGRESO
Reportes de progreso para la primera nueve semanas irán a casa el viernes, 23 de septiembre
para que puedan ver el progreso de su hijo/a en sus metas académicas.

TODO NIÑO/A LEYENDO
Padres de familia de niños/as recién nacidos hasta 4 años vengan a acompañarnos en
aprendizaje divertido con nuestro PROGRAMA TODO NIÑO/A LEYENDO! Nuestro programa
Todo Niño Leyendo se reúne en la biblioteca de Allen el 28 de septiembre a las 8:30 AM. Esta
programa es para padres de familia y sus hijos de nacimiento hasta 4 años de edad para
introducir la lectura.
PARENT’S PLACE: ADULTOS COLOREANDO--Todos los padres son invitados a reunirse al
Parent’s Place para pasar tiempo de relajamiento. Nos reuniremos en la cafetería el miércoles 27
de Septiembre a las 9:00a.m.

Nuestras camisetas para niños/as y adultos de Allen ES están de venta en la oficina por solamente
$10.00. ¡Queremos animarlos a que compren una camiseta porque cada viernes por el resto del año
escolar los estudiantes y personal usaran los colores de la escuela y los estudiantes pueden
usar sus camisetas de Allen!
