Usos:
To leave from a place
When we use SALIR, we often use it with the preposition “de”, in order to say “to leave from.”
Ex…..Ellos salen del cine a pie. (They leave from the movie theater on foot.)
To leave for a place
Use SALIR with the preposition “para” to say where a person is leaving for.
Ex…. Ana Sale para el cine en coche. (Ana leaves for the movie theater in a car.)
Giving Directions
To give directions, we use the expression “Al salir de ___(lugar)___” followed by a command.
Ex…Al salir de la escuela, dobla a la derecha y……

Giving a command ( Mandato)
To command someone to leave, SALIR has an irregular form: sal
Ex…Sal de la sala. (leave the room)
