KISS ‘N’ GO
DROP-OFF & PICK-UP SYSTEM
Asbury Elementary offers a KISS ‘N’ GO program to give parents a safe option at drop off and pick up
times. Help us combat the high traffic congestion around the school and the daily near misses that are
taking place by using this as an option. Parents of kindergarten through 5th grade students can
participate in the KISS ‘N’ GO zone located at the west side of the school. We’d like you to consider
participating, particularly if you can’t walk to school. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this
effort.
HOW IT WORKS:
● Kiss ‘N’ Go takes place on the east side of Marion Street.
● There is NO PARKING on the east side of Marion.
● Morning Drop-off: Drop-off on S. Marion Street is between 8:15 am and 8:25 am. Paraprofessionals will help unload the students and make sure the students get to the playground
safely.
● Afternoon Pick-up: Pick-up on S. Marion Street is between 3:15 pm and 3:25 pm.
○ One grade level teacher will walk students who are going to Kiss ‘N’ Go to the west door
(by 2nd grade) and walk the students down the stairs to help load them into appropriate
cars.
○ Teachers will load 3 cars at a time and as they pull away the next 3 cars will be loaded.
● KISS ‘N’ GO is a single lane going in only one direction – northbound on S. Marion Street.
● Passing is not allowed.
● Pull forward as far as possible. Three cars should unload or load at a time. Unload and
load students from the passenger side only. (Volunteers will help with car seats)
● Please do not leave your vehicle for any reason. Escorts will be present at the west entrance to
assist students into and out of school.
● Cell phone use is not permitted in the KISS ‘N’ GO Lane.
● If a car is left unattended in the KISS ‘N’ GO Lane, your license plate number will be noted and
you may be subject to towing. Cars not following the rules will be restricted from participating in
the program and will be subject to ticketing by the Denver Police Department.
● If students are not participating in Kiss ‘N’ Go, but rather being picked up by parents/guardians
the students will be dismissed onto the blacktop by the office.

Asbury Primaria ofrece el programa Kiss ‘N’ Go para dar a los padres una opción segura durante las
horas de dejar y recoger. Usando esta opción ayúdenos a combatir la alta congestión de tráfico
alrededor de la escuela y accidentes diarios que han estado muy cerca de pasar. Padres de los
estudiantes de k - 5to grado pueden participar en la zona Kiss ‘N’ Go localizada al lado oeste de la
escuela. Nos gustaría que lo consideraran especialmente si no pueden caminar a la escuela. Les damos
las gracias por adelantado.
COMO FUNCIONA:
● Kiss ‘N’ Go está ubicada en la parte este de la calle Marion.
● NO HAY PARQUEO en la parte este de Marion.
● Dejarlos en las mañanas: Los deja en la calle Marion entre las 8:15 am y 8:25 am. Paraprofesionales ayudarán a los estudiantes a bajar y se asegurarán de que ingresen al patio
seguros.
● Recogerlos en la tarde: Recójalos en la calle Marion entre las 3:15 pm y las 3:25 pm.
○ Una maestra de aula llevará a los estudiantes del Kiss ‘N’ Go hasta la puerta oeste (cerca
del 2do grado) y de allí los ayudará a subir a los vehículos apropiados
○ Maestras llenarán 3 vehículos a la vez.
● KISS ‘N’ GO es una vía que va en una sola dirección hacia el norte en la calle Marion
● No está permitido pasar.
● Vaya hacia adelante lo más que pueda. Solo tres autos deben desembarcar o embarcar al
mismo tiempo. Abordo y desembarco de pasajeros es solo por el lado de los pasajeros (
voluntarios ayudarán con los asientos de seguridad)
● Por favor no deje su vehículo por ninguna razón. Escoltas ayudaran a los estudiantes.
● Teléfonos celulares no están permitidos en la vía Kiss ‘N’ Go.
● Si deja su carro en esta vía, se le tomará el número de placa y puede que su vehículo sea
remolcado. Carros que no sigan las directrices serán restringidos de participar en el programa y
serán sujetos a multas por la Policía de Denver.
● Estudiantes que no participan en la línea de Kiss ‘N’ Go serán llevados al patio en frente de la
oficina para ser recogidos por sus padres o guardianes.
