CONVENCIÓN DE VIENA SOBRE DERECHO DE LOS TRATADOS

PERÚ: RATIFICACIÓN
El Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas, actuando en calidad de depositario,
comunica lo siguiente:
La acción tuvo efecto el 14 de setiembre de 2000, con:

Para el Gobierno del Perú, la aplicación de los artículos 11, 12 y 25 de
la Convención deben entenderse en concordancia y con sujeción al
proceso de suscripción, aprobación, ratificación, adhesión y entrada en
vigencia de tratados que dispone su ordenamiento constitucional.
La Convención entró en vigor para el Perú el 14 de octubre de 2000, en
concordancia con el artículo 84 (2) que establece lo siguiente:
"Para cada Estado que ratifique la Convención o se adhiera a ella después de
haber sido depositado el trigésimo quinto depósito instrumento de ratificación o
adhesión, la Convención entrará en vigor el trigésimo día a partir de la fecha en que tal
Estado haya depositado su instrumento de ratificación o adhesión”.

VIENNA CONVENTION ON THE LAW OF TREATIES
VIENNA, 23 MAY 1969
PERU: RATIFICATION
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary,
communicates the following:
The above action was effected on 14 September 2000, with:

For the Government of Peru, the application of articles 11, 12 and 25 of the Convention must
be understood in accordance with, and subject to, the process of treaty signature, approval, ratification,
accession and entry into force stipulated by its constitutional provisions.
The Convention entered into force for Peru on 14 October 2000 in accordance with its article
84 (2) which reads as follows:
"For each State ratifying or acceding to the Convention after the deposit of the thirty-fifth
instrument of ratification or accession, the Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after
deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification or accession."
